Broken Promises 1

The ceremony started. All the bridesmaids and best men had done their part walking on the aisle before you.

As the door opened. I saw you with that beautiful wedding gown, you look so gorgeous wearing it. Slowly you walked on the aisle with those beautiful smile you have but then our eyes met and you saw me looking at you smiling, you begun to cry.  I tried to stop my tears to fall as you slowly walked towards me, we looked on each others eyes I saw those sad eyes of yours.

Why yongsunah? I thought to myself.

Then you walked passed by me and walked towards someone else. That moment I know my life fucked up. I drop my gaze and look at our friends looking at me with a sad smile. I give them a sad smile and looked at the both of you smiling. And it hurts me because I'm just one of the people who will congratulate you.

I'm so happy that you already reach this phase of your life. But, the one that beside you supposed to be me. Just like what we planned, what we dreamed of but unfortunately, you're marrying someone else.

I still remember how we planned getting married to each other when we we're still in college. It was a perfect plan and I never thought it will remain as a plan forever.

Flashback

"Babe where do you want to get married?" I suddenly thought of it, because I knew the first time I saw you I want to marry you.

"Why? Will you gonna marry me someday?" You asked me with those smile of yours. Fuck I'm so inlove with this girl.

"Of course, I will marry you and make babies with you babe" I gladly said and kissed you in your forehead. "The question is, are you willing to be my wife and be the mother of  my kids in the near future babe?" I sincerely asked you while I pull out the ring I brought before I came to your place.

You were shocked and you are even tearing up.

"Are you really proposing to me now babe?" You looked at me and asked me sincerely. I smiled and put the ring on your finger,then cupped your both cheeks.

"This is just a promise ring babe but I know soon I will be marrying you but now.."  I took a deep breath.

" I, Moon byul yi promise you yongsunah to be the best girlfriend that you will ever have. I promise to be always by your side and will never leave you, I promise to fight for us, I promise to give you a wonderful family soon and I promise to love you everyday, every night, every minute and every second of the day. I love you my yongsun" I kissed the back of your hand after saying those.

You looked at me with a smile on your face and then you hold my both hands.

"I, Kim Yongsun promise to marry you soon and be the mother of your kids. I promise to love you every second that I breathe, I promise to be with you and never leave you. I love you byul ah"

End of flashback

I touched the promise ring that I've brought for the both of us. Then I looked at the both of you sharing those smiles.Where are our promises yongsunah?

"Do you take Kim yongsun as your wife?" I heard the priest said.

"I do, I gladly do" I quietly said.

I laughed at the thought of it because I'm not the one whose being asked now. I am not the one you are marrying.

"I do" I heard the man you choose to marry said.
