Eddies pov

I walked into the hospital ready to get a few 'happy birthday' from my friends. But the hospital was dark "hello?" I called out then lights came on and people jumped out "happy birthday!" I jumped a bit but smiled "thanks you guys" I smiled big.

Soon music started and I saw tables of food and such.
"Hey eddie can you go get one of the cases of beer in that room" Beverly asked pointing to a door "you sure you need beer Bev?" I asked she rolled her eyes "yessssssss" I giggled a bit and giving her a look of fineeee.

I started towards the room opening the door to see Richie getting a case. I went beside him and picked a case
Up. "Ed's!" He exclaimed ruffling my hair.

"Hey Richie and don't call me that" I said swatting his hand. "Awww why not eddie spaghetti" he sighed. "Becauseeee" I said "so do you feel older?" He asked "kinda" I replied.

"You ok rich your sweating a bit and this is like the coldest room on earth" I laughed he smiled when I laughed. "Well you just make me nervous sometimes" he shrugged "me make the Richie tozier nervous wow" I said.

"I mean it you make me feel different" he said "well yeah it's what having a best friend is like" I laughed. "No Eddie I mean I you make me feel a way I don't around every one else". "Wait what?" I replied "Eddie" he said getting close making me get a bit nervous "I like you eddie I like you a lot not just a friend way I fucking love you and I wanted to tell you sooner but I couldn't and I just decided today would be a perfect day to tell you I love you eddie" he exclaimed holding my cheek. My eyes grew wide "richie I-" Richie was flunh on the floor before I could finish my sentence by ...patient 667 "Richie!" I screamed as the dead patient had pale skin red eyes with no look of emotion tearing into Richies neck as he cried. I ran out I need to warn someone I ran into the party finding Beverly.

"EVERYONE GET OUT NOW IT KILLED RICHIE ITS GONNA KILL US ALL!" I yelled "whoa Eddie you ok?" Bev asked "why aren't you fucking listening we need to leave he's gonna kill us all he killed Richie!!" I yelled and cried.

Til I heard a voice sounding like a random class mate of mine "mrs.peters you o-AH!" He screamed my teacher of the hospital was pale that same emotionless look in her eyes now eating the kid everyone started screaming as patient 667 came to I found my five best friends and broke a window we dragged each other up running out "what about Richie?!" Stan yelled.

"He's dead stanley! He was killed in front of me!" I yelled crying as we all ran faster away.

One year later

I woke up tommrow my birthday great I groaned as I sat up. I put on a shirt and some shorts and walked out walking to a small room. "Good morning lily" I smiled looking at the little girl in her bed "hey eddie" she smiled back. "Feeling any better today" I asked taking her blood pressure. "Not really" she frowned.

"Hey don't worry you'll be better before you know it" I said trying to comfort her I had been taking care of lily for months with no sign of her getting better but I was so close to finding out how to cure whatever she has just one more blood test.

"Ok lily I'm gonna take some blood again ok?" I said she nodded looking away from the needle.

I took the blood test put a bandage on the spot and told her I would be back in a hour. I walked to the main testing office I saw bill and Stan talking "h-hey eddi-eddie!" Bill smiled seeing me "hey guys" I replied.

Stan waved. I started testing the blood and testing other types of sick cells until I found it "I DID IT!" I exclaimed. "What did ya do eddie?" Stan asked. "I found a cure for Lily's sickness all we have to do is go beyond the lake and get those plants I can form them into a liquid and a shot and she has a 96% chance of getting better" I exclaimed. Bill often ate lunch with lily so she didn't feel alone and Stan would play games to help her learn like scrabble and ect since no schools were open and she was only seven.

"E-Eddie I want to hu-help lily but su-some loose zombies are puh-past the gate to the lake" bill said. "Please guys please their isn't to many we can drive out there and bring guns get the plants and leave" I begged. "Fine but mike needs to come to him and bill can be look out and I'll follow you while you get the plants

No ones pov

Mike agreed after Eddie begged for him to help. They got in the army jeep, guns loaded and a small basket for the plants. Mike drove. Most infected where in a cage in the military base outside. We made it to a stop opening the gate then closing it as we entered the barrier no infected were around most were captured or killed already. We drove out passed the lake then stopped we all got out mike and bill stayed at the jeep as me and Stan walked as we saw the plant.

No ones pov

As Stan and Eddie collected the plants Stan and bill saw nothing no infected but little did they know a zombie Was latching onto under the Jeep waiting to get into the base well actually that's not what the zombie wanted at all.

He wanted one specific person not to harm them but to keep them safe the zombie stays latched until the Jeep starts and everyone starts driving into the base the zombie Richie tozier hanging on.
