Today is the day! I'm going to find out where I will be spending the rest of my life. Since I am the princess of Camelot, my parents have an arranged marriage planned for me. I've never really liked the idea, but I have to follow through with it. Today I get to meet my suiter.
"Excuse me, are you Bryn Rowen?" I hear a male voice ask behind me.
"Depends on who you are," I say hiding that I'm nervous.
"I'm Wil Ohmsford," he chuckles.
I turn around to see a quite handsome man. I was expecting someone much older, he seems about 20. He slightly turned his head to the side and I notice his ear is pointed; he must be an elf. I love that he is an elf, but many people wouldn't approve; mainly because I am human.
"I thought it would be best if I took you out before the big day tomorrow," he stated.
"We shall go for a walk then," I tell him.
While walking through the park we started to tell each other about ourselves. I learned that he is a Shannara, meaning he has magic. This really intrigued me because I have never met a person with magic before. I decided to tell him about my fascination with animals, and especially how rabbits are my favorite.
We continued to walk and talk, then he said, "I'm having a lovely time with you."
"I am too, Wil," I say with a smile.
