Alma and I head into the woods to look for Bryn. As we go through the woods I see prints in the mud. They seem to be larger than an average animal. I put my hand up to the print and notice that the paw print is larger than my hand.
"Alma, go fly and see if you can spot a large animal anywhere," I tell her.
"On it Wil," she says back to me.
She soars up and goes ahead of me. I keep walking to see if I can spot the animal on the ground as well.
"I see a dog," Alma shouts to me.
"Let's head over to it," I say while walking faster and faster toward that direction.
I get up to the animal and notice that it is quite large. The prints didn't lie.
Snores are coming from its mouth, of course it is asleep in our way. I guess I should look around it. Maybe I can find a way past the sleeping beast.
I notice hair and an arm behind the dog. It must be Bryn. I walk closer to the hand but stop hesitantly. The beast woke up and started to growl at Alma and I. This isn't going to be good.
I get out my elf stones and focus on the dog. A slight blue light shines from within my hands and aims for the animal. In a matter of seconds the animal turns into dust and I can get to the girl.
"Wil, its Bryn," Alma hollars to me.
"Finally," I say while I walk up to her and put my hand on her shoulder. I try to wake her but its taking a lot of time.
She wakes up at last but seems out of it. I don't know what's wrong. She says one thing, and one thing only.
"Hatter?" Bryn askes while giving me an odd look.
