two weeks later

"i'm back, bitches!" was the first thing y/n said as she dropped her bags onto the floors of the dorms she had grown to love.

the first person to react was kaminari, he ran over and attacked y/n with a tight hug and multiple kisses on her face.

"glad to see you missed me," y/n kissed kaminari on his forehead.

"welcome back!" mina forced kaminari off of his girlfriend, and onto the floor, so she could hug her best friend.

"what'd i miss?"

"nothing really, kami just complained about missing you the whole time." mina explained as y/n nodded.

"hey!"

"am i wrong?" mina laughed.

"not exactly," kaminari turned his head and pouted.

"well i missed you too," y/n was released of mina's tight embrace and helped kaminari stand up.

"so," kaminari said once he was off of the floor. "about our date-"

"holy shit you remembered!" y/n interrupted, she had no faith in kaminari when it came to remembering important events.

"of course, i did!" kaminari rolled his eyes which caused y/n to laugh.

"so what are we doing exactly?" y/n picked her bags back up. kaminari took one away from y/n so he could carry it instead.

"i'll surprise you tomorrow morning with it! but for now you should unpack," y/n nodded and began to make her way up to her room.

y/n opened her dorm room to an unmade bed, like she had left it before her suspension.

y/n placed her bag onto her bed and motioned for kaminari to do the same.

"you need any help?" kaminari asked as he closed the door.

"no i'll be alright," y/n looked at her phone, she had gotten to the dorms late so it was already 8 pm.

"you sure?" y/n nodded. "i'll be in my room if you need me."

"okay kaminari," y/n unzipped on of her bags.

"you can call me denki you know," y/n smiled and looked up at kaminari, who was standing in the door way.

"okay, denki," he smiled at the sound of his name. y/n began to separate her clothes once kaminari had left.

the next morning, y/n woke up to a text from kaminari telling her to meet him by the gate in 15 minutes.

y/n sat up and went to the bathroom. she quickly brushed her teeth and properly styled her hair.

she made her way back to her room and called kaminari.

"what should i wear exactly?" y/n said as she started to open her drawers.

"something comfortable," kaminari simply said and hung up.

"bitch," y/n mumbled to herself as she threw her phone on her bed.

y/n kept on the black sweatpants that she had on from the night before. she looked through her drawers and found a red t-shirt that she had stolen from sero.

she changed into it and looked for a pit of shoes to wear. she found her red checkered slip-on vans.

she put them on and grabbed her phone. she found a black sweater that belonged to bakugo and put it on as she exited her room, closing the door behind her.

y/n didn't bother to saw anything to anyone who was in the common area, she walked out of the dorms and saw kaminari waiting by the gates.

"you look nice," kaminari was greeted by a kiss on the cheek. "but knowing you, only half of that outfit belongs to you." kaminari knew y/n had a habit of stealing the clothing of her friends.

"you know me so well," y/n laughed as they began to walk down the street. "so where are we going?"

"we're going to have breakfast in the park!" y/n smiled and held kaminari's hand as they walked.

"here we are!" kaminari said once they arrived at a bench that had basket on top of it.

y/n smiled as she sat a cross from kaminari.

"so what do we have?" y/n asked.

"well," kaminari opened the basket. "we have sliced fruits that i bought earlier, croissants that i asked sato to make, and juice boxes because i wanted juice boxes." kaminari smiled brightly once y/n clapped.

y/n was handed a plate that was stored in the basket, along with a croissant and slices of kiwis, strawberries, and watermelon.

y/n sat up slightly to look inside of the basket, she saw forks and grabbed one. as she took a bite of some of the fruit, kaminari placed a juice box, ape juice to be exact, in front of y/n which made her smile.

kaminari smiled at himself and took a picture of y/n.

"hey!" y/n grabbed his phone. kaminari had turned it off after he took the picture so y/n had to power it on.

"hey isn't that the picture i took with mina?" y/n said as she took a sip of her apple juice and pointed towards kaminari's lock screen. kaminari only nodded.

"aw is that why you wanted the picture," y/n smirked.

"maybe," kaminari took back his phone as he chewed on the croissant.

"you're adorable," y/n took another bite of her food.

"no you," kaminari flipped to the case of his phone, which was a yellow uno reverse card. y/n started laughing and almost chocked on her food.

once the two had stopped eating, y/n helped kaminari clean up and throw away the juice boxes.

"hey denki," kaminari turns his head towards y/n. "thank you for all of this."

kaminari smiled and kissed y/n softly.

"anything for you."
