Norman stare at Ray shock as the raven haired sighed "If your going to learn more about the enemy,its best to do so in the inside.Which is why,I ended up offering a deal to Mom" he explained.

"That's risky" Norman said still at shock as Ray wave him off. "Not really"

"I'm one of the fine product she raised here,she's cared a lot for me.She wouldn't throw me away,that's how I saw it.She's someone who cares more about profit than rules" Ray clarified as he then held out three fingers

"I made sure to ask 3 things,first was not to get shipped out if I cooperate,second was rewards in exchange for results--"

"What kind of rewards?" Norman interrupted.

"Various junk,if it isn't in the house she secures it for me." As Norman realized what Ray meant as he nodded his head.

"My reason for doing it was to check what I could and couldn't get,but also to research about the outside,turns out as long as it was safe she could get lots of things,but everything she brings back is outdated"

"So then when you said you had an idea for breaking the trackers..." Norman trailed off.

"I've seen the real device,I did testing.Took me a few years but I figure it out,it is possible to break the tracking devices " Ray said staring right at Norman's wide eyes.

"You get it? Norman I'm the strongest card you ever have,no one else compares.And I don't just have any info about the tracking devices and mom,you can't even begin to imagine how much I've learn over the years...from the moment I discovered the truth.I started preparing...." Ray said as he covered his eyes.

"Ray..."

"I had you,Emma and [Y/n] go to the gate without having anyone notice.All of this....just to make sure you three don't die!" Ray yelled as he pointed at Norman who was still at shock.

"It's like you said Norman,I'm not exactly your enemy,but I'm not your ally either.Let's make a deal.If you agree I'll become your trump card,I'll tell you everything I know and leave false info to mom.If you do one thing." Ray spoke

"What's that?" Norman asks hesitantly

"Trick Emma and [Y/n]" Ray answered making Norman taken a back.

"We'll both pretend we're taking everyone then ditched them later,but we can take Don and Gilda too."  Ray demanded

"Are you saying we should give up escaping with everyone? You know [Y/n] will be against that idea" Norman argued.

"Yes and I know" Ray simply answered.

"But the training helps them grow more than we expected,you even said that they had potential.You meant it didn't you? Then all of us--"

"Regardless it doesn't change the fact that they'd be dead weight" Ray said coldly as silence envelope the two of them again.

"You said you were going to help us didn't you Ray?" Norman said quietly as Ray stood up.

"What I'm doing is my way of helping" He said looking at Norman "You don't like it then you three could die here" Ray stated as he point a finger towards the ground

Norman look at him and narrowed his eyes at him "But I thought you wanted Emma [Y/n] and I?" he ask

"Honestly,I'd rather you guys get ship than die once we escape" Ray stated still having the same cold voice.

"What happened about protecting [Y/n]?" 

"I still will.So do we have a deal?" Ray said 

Norman look down,contemplating if he would agree or not.After thinking about it he sighed in defeat and stood up.

"Fine.."

Ray walked over to Norman as he put a hand on his shoulder and spoke closely to his ear as he smiled darkly "Listen,If I find out you lied to me....."

"Don't worry I'll keep my word" Norman said 

With that Ray started to walk towards the door,as he grab the door know he was stop by Norman again.

"Wait!"

'What?" Ray asked looking over his shoulder.

"You said earlier you ask mom three things,what was the third one?" Norman asks 

Ray stayed silent before letting out a deep chuckle and turn to Norman. "The third one was....she's not allowed to harm [Y/n] in any way possible"

With that he opened the door but stood frozen seeing a familiar figure standing by the door crying.

"[Y/n]....."

You heard everything,all of it.Tears stream down your face as you didn't lift you head up to meet those dark green eyes.You didn't how to react after all of those.

Ray was completely at shock as he stood there frozen,but he snap out of it as heard you continued to cry.He slowly lifted his hand up and try to brush away the tears streaming down your cheeks but seeing how you flinch away from him,Ray retracted his hand back to his sides.

"[Y/n]...I.."

Ray tried to say something,anything to explain himself properly but it seems like all of his words were caught in his throat.Having enough of this for now,you walk away from Ray leaving him there in the door.

"you plan this to huh Norman?" he asks after you had left and was nowhere to be seen.

"She had to know" Norman stated letting out a sigh Ray ran a hand through his face as he let out a smirk but his eyes were full of sadness.

"You always know my weakness huh"

Norman didn't reply as he just stood there "Still a deal is still a deal Norman."

"Yeah...I'll keep my word"

With that Ray walk away closing the door and head towards Mom's studies.

You came back to your room and found the other's were already asleep,quietly you walk towards your bed and close your eyes and forget about what just happen tonight as you suddenly dreamed something

".....where are we going?" a little you asks as you were being tug by someone.

"I wanted to show you something,we won't be to long,just follow me and try not to get lost" That person spoke.

The younger you and the other person continued to walk through the forest until you two arrive at the gate.The two of you exchange some words of some sorts that you couldn't hear clearly.

Then the dream went like a blur as little you and the person continued to just talk and sometimes joke around.After some time the person sat under a tree while you laid on their lap.They pet your hair as you started to hear a quiet lullaby that lulled little you to sleep.

"Why did you give birth to me?"

After hearing those words you suddenly woke up with a cold sweat.You look up and see Emma and Gilda as they smiled at you.

"Morning [Y/n]!"

"Rise and Shine!!"

The two of them greeted,mustering up a smile you sat up and greeted them back "Morning Emma,Gilda"

"Come on,let's go set up breakfast for everyone" Emma cheered as she tug your arms and get you out of bed.

"Emma let me get change first" You said giggling as you stood up and get change.After getting ready for the day you all started to walk down the stairs as you trail behind.

You didn't know why but that dream you had,it felt like it happened before.As you continued to walk down the stairs deep in thought,you miss a step and started to fall.Closing your eyes shut you waited for the impact but none came.

Hesitantly opening your eyes you look to see that someone had manage to grab your hand just in time.Following the arm you look up to see non other than Ray looking at you concerned but looking at him made you tear up as you snatch your hand away and was about to walk away from him when Ray wrap his arms around you.

"Please....let's talk" He whispered his voice sad and broken.

You two stayed like that for a bit until you let out a sigh "Okay....."
