Ray lead you towards the secluded area where you had told him about how you heard the conversation between Sister Krone and Mom.

Once you two arrive there Ray turn to you "Look [Y/n] I--" Ray started to speak and explain when he was cut off by a force.

He look down at you surprise as you suddenly lunge at him and wrap your arms around his neck giving him a hug in which Ray didn't expected.

"Ray....I'm sorry" He heard you mumble as you silently cried burying your head on his shoulder.

"Baka why are you apologizing? I should be the one doing that and explaining myself to you" Ray said softly as he wrap one hand around your waist and put the other one at the back of your head caressing your hair.

You continued to sob quietly as you pulled away and look up at him "It was hard right? You've kept something like this for years,going through so much just for our sake...my sake." You whimpered out as Ray stared at you sadly.

"Still....I'm upset how you kept something like this and shouldered it all by yourself,all these time you were already preparing.Having to do it all by yourself...Risking your life..." You mumbled as you grip on his shirt.

"I trusted you Ray....I told you everything,but you never told me anything only would I have know was when Norman or Emma would tell me indirectly,even since we were kids...up until now...last night....I didn't know how to feel..it was all jumbled up...sadness...disappointment...regret...but mostly enough I didn't felt any anger...Not even once..."

You then look up at him as he stare back at you as you cup his cheeks "Cause I know...I  believed in you Ray....I always did....and I always will.Now promise me you won't do something that costs your life ever again"

Ray lifted one of his hand and put it over yours as he leaned his face over your soft hands "Baka...if I was dead how am I going to protect you?" Ray said softly as he brush your tears away.

"Plus shouldn't I be the one explaining and ranting here?" He joke wanting to lighten the atmosphere.

And it did cause after saying that he manage to make you let out a giggle and a smile come out of you.

"Yeah but you were too slow dum-dum" You said still giggling as Ray let out a chuckle.

He then lean down holding your face looking at you softly and lovingly making your heart flutter inside of your chest.Ray started to lean closer as you close your eyes not knowing what to do.

Ray lean down on you as both of your noses was touching but seeing how you didn't know what to do Ray let a small smile of amusement on his face and lifted himself up and kiss your forehead before pulling you to his chest.

"I'll protect you [Y/n]....I promise that..." Ray mumbled holding you tight against him.

You returned his warm embrace burying your head against his chest as you smiled softly feeling safe and protected. " I know...."

After staying like that for a while,Ray and you pulled away.He then nodded his head back as he signal at the Dining Room.

"We should go and head back"

You nodded your head smiling at him "Yeah"

Both you and Ray headed back toward the Dining Hall as you saw Emma and Norman

"Morning Norman!" Emma greeted with a bright smile.

"Oh hey! Morning" He greeted back as Ray walk up ahead and put a hand on top of Norman's shoulder.

"Morning Norman" Ray greeted as he brush his way past your twin,like in a daze he look at Ray's back as he hesitantly greeted him back too.

"M-Morning...Ray"

You let out a sigh and muster up a small smile and went up to Norman as you wrap an arm around his shoulder.

"Morning Norman" You greeted him with a comforting smile.

Norman was a bit surprise at your actions but nevertheless smiled back at you "Morning [Y/n]"

After the quick exchange of greetings the two of you then started to help with the preparations for breakfast.While doing so Norman notice how both you and Ray were getting along again in which he was happy.But still after last night Norman couldn't help but feel a bit wary of Ray.

Just like Ray said,He's not an enemy but he's not an ally either.

Norman contemplated about the deal he agreed to Ray,he wanted the latter to cooperate,and save everyone like what Emma and you want,but if he was going to do this he has to be careful.

As Free Time came all of the kids went out as you,Emma,Ray and Norman headed towards the edge of the forest.

"So what happened with the rope?Did you find out who the informant is?"Emma ask the two boys as she tilt her head.

You could see the hesitant look on Norman's face and you can understand why cause you were also hesitant to tell Emma.I mean come on how are the two of you going to tell her that the spy was actually---

"Oh that,it's me" Ray spoke as both you and Norman look at him with a dumbfounded look.

"I'm the one whose been leaking the info" The raven haired boy said bluntly and point at himself.

Emma who was just processing what Ray had said tilts her head until she finally realized what he said.

"It was you!?!" She shrieked pointing at him while also looking at you who was beside her "[Y/n] why aren't you freaking out too!?!"

You let out a nervous smile and rub your arms and look at Emma but before you could answer her question she held both of her head and started to mumble.

"Sorry about that reaction,but I don't really understand so can you please..."

"Let me explain!!" Norman said to the confuse girl as Ray chuckled at the scene.You shook your head as you calmed Emma down and explain everything to her.

"So Ray is mom's spy but he's not our enemy and the reason why he was helping mom this whole time was for our sake?" Emma asks as you nodded your head and Norman replied.

"Yeah..."

"The truth is I was planning on telling you,as soon as you came back from the gate in fact" Ray spoke up shrugging as he let out a sigh and continue.

"But you left little bunny behind,and mention bringing everyone with so I had no choice but to hold off"Hearing made you three flinch as Ray over his shoulder and eyes you three "Then mom found out which meant I had to work around all that,while also handling your reckless action.I figure it was best to stay quiet and keep things under control" He elaborated

"Basically you were covering up the mistake Norman,[Y/n] and I made.Are you still against escaping with cause we could really use your help" Emma said.

"I had a change of heart," Ray started as he then trailed his eyes to you and continued his words "So I will help you escape with everyone" He said grinning.
