chapter three

Kai huffs as he moves the last cupboard. His sweet drips down toned arms that are bulging with blood, he whines hearing the bell ring. His whole body feels like jelly and he just wants something to eat, It's already afternoon and his starving. Grumpy he walks down the stairs and flings the door open with a bam. What he does not expect is having another alpha jump him from behind bringing them both to the ground with the other growl above.

Already feeling threaten he growls back getting ready to change when he feels a familiar scent invade his nose and cries out in pain after a hard smack is landed on his head.

"Brat is that how you greet your elders?" Yixing sneers when kai looks up at his face contorting between shocked, happy and annoyed.

"Some things never change with you hyung." Kai says from the ground and waves at suho when the other laughs.

"You gonna get up anytime soon? " suho says endearing with a smile.

"I kinda feel like jelly after moving everything and when hyung jumped me it kinda took all my energy." He says with a laugh and watches as his hyung get scolding and glares at him , he retorts by sticking out his tongue.

Eventually lay helps him to his couch and suho heads to his kitchen to warm the food he brought and makes the kid a warn drink with his youngest following him around like a lost pup.

Suho laughs and picks him up handing him on of the cookies he brought as a snack for him making little boy beams.  When he walks back he notices his husband and jongin catching up.

"Jongin sweety here eat this." Suho disrupts and chuckles silently when the eyes of the other sparkle muttering a thousand 'thank yous' as he devours the chicken.

"Samchon can I have a bite?" Taeyong asks innocently startling kai who just notices him. He blinks in surprise as the other gets shouting and pouts.

"Taeyong! You just ate don't be rude." Suho shouts angry and slightly embarrassed at him.

"Its okay suho hyung. Hey buddy, sure you can have a bite." Kai smiles as he picks up taeyong sitting him on his lap who kisses his cheeks and takes a big bite humming happily at the taste. Kai laughs and ruffles his hair.

"Woah daebak! Samchon its so good!" He says and kai nods.

"I know huh.  You can call me hyung little man no need to be so formal.  Plus I'm not that old."

From the side he hears his hyung chuckles at what his son says and glares at the others comment.

"Nuh-huh you seem better as a samchon." Taeyong says with serious with no room for debate.

"Plus he is old." Comes the kid's father and kai really wants to kick him.

"Its a Shame our eldest isn't here he had to attend to something but gives his greeting to you. You remember our eldest hunnie right kai?" Suho says and kai nods still eating his chicken and taeyong watches taeyong who alternates between feeding himself and him to which his mom glares and he gives a smile and dismissive wave.

"Yeah. Last time I saw him he was a newborn how old is he now?"

"Yup you ass you supposed to come to visit but you never did dipshit and his 18 in the next two months come May 13th."

"I did try to lay Hyung but life just got busy. I missed you though. Oh, mating age. You ready?" Kai says cheekily and laughs when the other glares.

"Hell no. Although I don't need to worry with him because he hasn't really been interested in dating at all. Speaking of mates how are you doing with yours."

"Still don't have one. Never found anyone so living the bachelor playboy life." Kai says with a smirk to lay and they fist bump. Suho who wasn't far heard that comment and smacked the two on the head and glared. Instantly they sinked themselves further into the seat while taeyong laughs at the unfortunate two.

"Well who knows you might get a big surprise in our little town. " suho says with a smile and dismissively waves them off while he takes a phone call.

Kai gulps at that thought and nods.  He can't help but feel a weird setting in his chest after the elder said that.
