chapter twelve

Kai immediately jumps out of his chair rushing to sehun as soon as the other falls down. He manages to catch him just in time making suho sigh in relief.

"He will be in my room." Suho nods while he rushes out to their house while lay comforts taeyong who crying.

"But appa why did that happen to hyung?!"

"Sh his okay. He's just asleep. Don't worry. Kai can you-"

"Its fine I got him." Is all kai say before scooping the other up into his arms. It's happening again.

This time stronger than before when he first felt it, when he was a child. With his face fallen he lays the other down in his room taking his shoes of and covering him with the thinnest blanket his got.

"Thank you kai" is the first thing suho says when he walks in. He gives sehun an injection and frowns when he feels him burning up.

"Whats wrong with him?" Kai ask softly and suho gives him a sad smile as he strokes sehun hair.

"When you left his fever did go down but something else happened and well when he reached his omega Years his first heat was horrible. Sehun couldn't bear it. Yixing went in to help him with his scent but it only made him cry out worst. In the end yixing gave him a sedative to keep him down."  Suho says with a heavy heart while stroking sehuns hair.

Sehun whines and reaches out automatically grabbing his hand and turning over. Kai looks over to suho in shock and the latter just smiles sadly.

"It's gotten worst recently. When ever he has his heat he gets like this. Which is why I'm hoping he finds his mate soon. Kai theres something you should know." Suho says serious making kai stop and look at him. With a nod the other takes a deep breath and carries on.

"Kai when sehun had his fever as a pup..You scent marked him." Kai blinks taking in the others word before a small chuckle leaves his lips.

"Hyung that's impossible. Only the parents can scent mark their pups when they that age."

"Well clearly not. Sehun has had your smell for years. Within the last two years it faded to being so light but it's there."

"Hyung that's impossible unless I slept with you and your telling me I'm really his father and yixing isn't." Kai says looking at the other seriously before taking off into a panic. Suho stares dumbly at kai not believing this stupid child said something like that. With a smack over his head he huffs.

"Dont be ridiculous! Of course sehun is yixing. Aigoo you pabo. I can't. Listen kid before in our great grandparents time we used to scent mark our future mates. The tradition obviously died off but it's still possible in rare cases when.."

"When?"

"I think you will find out later." Suho says with a knowing smile walking out. Kai groans in frustration. There's no way he scent marked this boy when he was a pup.

He pulls his hand out of sehuns gently and walks out but stops when the other whines. Walking back he feels sehuns temperature spike again,  he rushes to get a wet cloth dabbling it on his forehead.

"Damn brat first you attack me in the morning and now you get me to care of you. Kai say in a whisper while he runs a thumb over sehun small lips and shakes his head when the younger subconsciously parts them.

"Lord save me"
