One fairer than my love?

The all seeing sun Ne'er saw her match, since first the world began.

I glared out the window at the passing scenery as the sound of laughter from inside the bus flowed through my ears. I grimaced at the sound, knowing why is was there.

Why the people who laughed were laughing.

They are laughing at the thought of 'freedom'.

"You're so negative," stated the boy next to me.

I turned to face him, "no, I'm not. Every-one else is too positive."

He allowed a smile to fill his face, a chuckle seeped through his mouth, then lifting up his hand he gently patted my head.

"Shut up," I growled, crossing my arms over my head. "I get it, I'm small and negative. Happy, West?"

West grinned, his chocolate brown hair flopped in front of his eyes, "of course."

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder, shifting my body so I was tall enough. "I love you, West."

West smirked and pulled away from me, "EWW! A girl loves me."

"Eww," I said without emotion. "West, you suck."

West grinned playfully," what ever keeps you floating."

I scowled, "you're stupid."

"And why is that?" He raised an eyebrow.

"'Cuz I'm your best friend, you've known for 8 whole years! And yet you still don't get I never understand any of your jokes. Ever," I glared at him, but West just laughed.

"Damn blonde Melody!" West muttered before leaning his head on top of mine.

"Now, shush," West commanded. "I'm going to sleep."

I rolled my eyes, "sleepaholic," I shot back.
