D R U G A D D I C T
'Twas only a few minutes
Already the loss felt heavy in my chest
The need to feel defeated me
The need to see defeated me'Twas only a few seconds
But already I caved in to desire
The urge to dig into the darkness
To embrace it'Twas only a few milliseconds
I held it to my chest
They asked me,
"Why don't you want to let go?"
The answer was,
" I can't. "┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓
THANK YOU FOR READING !
┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛Yo humans, just a teeny weeny poem. No I'm NOT talking about an actual dug tho it could be that too. This is more metaphorical and you can relate this to anything. Lot of us struggle with a closeness or addiction to a particular something special so I whipped up something about it. I'm still an amateur writer but I hope my words mean something to you.
