Chapter 5 : Obsession
THE NEXT DAY (TUESDAY)
"Oh my God! Would you believe it? He's actually here!"
"Shut up Tyra, it's not like your going to live forever with Alex if he's in the same city as you" Vanessa said to her friend.
"Hey! It's not like that. I'm just living to the expectations that maybe, he just might, go to my house bringing a dozen of roses... beautiful red roses... then, he'll be there asking my parents if he can take me on a date then---" Tyra babbled on and on as if her best friends were even listening to her.
"Ok... now it's clear that we have just officially lost her" Vanessa said, shooking her head.
Kate smiled, "That's alright. As long as she will be focused during the quiz later. Now, she can think all she wants about my brother dear"
"Come on now! It's almost time until the bell rings for History II " Vanessa said, checking her watch and sees that its already 3:30 PM, "Tyra! You better get out of that daze soon!"
"Huh? What?" Tyra said.
"We got to go to History II or we're going to be late and Prof. Whatever-His-Name-Is would get mad at us again" Kate said.
"Okay..." Tyra said.
Soon, they were able to reach their classroom before the bell rang.
WITH ISABELLA...
"Coach!" Isa yelled when she saw her coach in the cheer squad.
"Oh, hi Isa" Coach Janice said, "need anything?"
"Uhm, I actually need to know when the next game is" Isa asked.
Coach Janice thought for a while, "Let's see...5 weeks from now. Why do you ask?"
...Oh, thank you! It's not on the day of the fight. That probably before or after the fight... Isabella thought.
Isabella smiled ate her coach, "Just asking coach. I want to suggest a few more practices"
"Oh sure!" Coach Janice smiled, "but I'm sure the other cheerleaders don't want o have extra hours. I mean, it's ok with me but they probably have other plans"
"I'll check with them Coach" Isa said, "Bye Coach, thanks for the accept!"
"Okay, your welcome. Bye Isa!"
As soon as Coach Janice was out of sight, Isa texted the other members of the cheer squad.
"Hey Girls! because of the upcoming game, I think we need to practice more. I'm hoping to add more hours for our practice, and I need your acceptance if it's fine
P.S. I'm sorry because I'm not sure with how many hours will be added but, I already asked permission from Coach Janice. Thanks -Bella :) "
When she was done with the text she sent it to the other cheerleaders.
After a few minutes or so, she was able to get all of their replies which was all ending with a yes.
"Nice" Bella said with a smile.
>Ring!< >Ring!< her phone rang.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Bella, it's Alex. Did you check already when is the next football game?" the person on the other end, Alex, said.
"The next football game is still 5 weeks away from now" Bella said to her brother.
"Great! That's just before the fight!" Alex said, "Sp it's cool with you and the others that I'll be the one who'll pick you guys up from school? No one's going to get bothered, right?"
Bella laughed, "Who would ever bother having YOU around? Especially Tyra... Is that the reason why you want to pick us up, brother?"
"Shut up!" Alex said. Thank God she's not here or she'll see me blush he thought.
"Whatever you say Alex, I know you just LOVE Tyra. I saw your old notebook from you high school days" Bella said, humored.
"Oh, you mean all those algebra solutions?" Alex said, hoping.
Bella giggled, "Yes, I saw those, but..." she paused for a framatic effect, "I also saw lots of Tyra with hearts around it. I also did see a few Tyra Lucenero. Obsessed much?"
Then Alex had enough, "WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP?!" and ended the call.
Bella stared at her phone and laughed, "Alex is so in love with Tyra and is so bad at denying it!" and continued laughing.
WITH ALEX...
So, whats the plan again? Alex though after placing his phone back to his pocket
Oh yeah, I'm going to pickk the girls up in their school and if I'm lucky enough, tyra and kate would be together Alex smiled I do hope their together during that time.
"Son," Mr. Lucenero said, disturbing his son from his thoughts "have you receive any of your sisters replies?"
Alex stared at his father, "Yeah.." then whispered quietly, "and a few teases..."
"What did you say Alex?" Mr. Lucenero asked.
Alex faked a smile at his father, "Noth---"
"Don't nothing me, Alex, you are my first child and so, I know you better" Mr Lucenero snapped at his son.
"Okay dad, you win. It's like this..." Alex started.
"Let's talk in my office for our own privacy" Mr. Lucenero said.
Alex nodded at his father, "Ok Dad"
