Chapter 10 : Deal is Final

3o MINUTES LATER... ( no one's POV)

"Honey! The kid and I are home!!! " Alex shouted when they entered there home.

Kate stared at her brother weirdly, "Kid? Seriously? KID?! Is that the best you got?"

"Hey, I'm older, stronger, taller and definitely bigger so comparing both of us..." Alex said, pretending to look like he was thinking, "You're definitely a kid" and then ruffed up Kate's hair

"Your so annoying!" Kate huffed and slapped her brother's head.

"Don't even dare to start fighting!" Mrs. Lucenero said from the family living room, "Come in the living room, we're all here!"

"Yes Mom" Alex and Kate said together and started heading for the room.

IN THE LIVING ROOM...

"Hey guys! How you doing? Feeling hungry?" Kate asked when she saw her parent and relatives sitting on the couch.

"Yeah! WE GOT PIZZA!!!" Alex shouted, smiling stupidly.

Mr. Lucenero frowned a little, "Alex, you know you don't need to shout. It actually hurts my ears"

Alex stared at his father for awhile and bursted out laughing, "I know!"

Mrs. Lucenero smiled cheekily, knowing the attitude of both her son and husband, "So, what were you calling this meeting for Honey?"

"Yes..." Mr. Lucenero said, "While you kids were in school, the Cripz called, they wanted to ask for our decision"

"And...?" Kate asked, biting her lips gently, "you told them yes didn't you?"

Mr. Lucenero stared at his youngest,"Well, I told them to wait for a few more minutes so I can get you final decision"

Alex stared at the floor, "It's hard for me to give into a fight that could cause my sisters' hands in marriage..."

"Who said we're going to lose?" Alice said, jumping from where she sat.

Isabella laughed at her twin, "Alice is right. Who said we're going to lose? We are the best mafia family EVER!"

Kate cut in isabella's speech, "Yeah! Don't forget we got THE best guards, guns, and we are just simply AWESOME!"

Mr. and Mrs. Lucenero laughed at their children when suddenly Mr. Lucenero remembered what he was supposed to do after his children's decision, "I guess I have to call them now..."

Alex smiled, getting his pride back, "And tell them we're not afraid to lose to a couple of LOSERS!!!"

"YEAH!" the girls shouted back.

Mr. Lucenero raised his hand, signaling the kids to keep quiet. He waited for a few miutes for the person in the other line to answer.

THE PHONE CONVERSATION:

"Hello?"

"Yes... is this Sky of the Cripz Mafia?"

"Yes, this is us. Is this Mr. Lucenero?"

"It is..."

"Oh Sir, we are so glad that you have called us again... So do you have your final decision?"

"Yes, we have and we accept your fight"

"I'm so glad you accept our agreement. Hmm.. I hope that the rewards still maintain?"

"They do still remain"

"Very good... Very, very good. This is probably one of the greatest decision you ever made Mr. Lucenero" Mr. Lucenero didn't like the tone of the guy, it was as if it was too husky for its own good.

"I don't think as you do"

"Very well Sir. Thank you for giving us your decision. We hope to see till the fight. Same place, same time I hope"

"We NEVER break our promises, especially in fights!" Mr. Lucenero growled a little.

When he heard the other end click, Mr. Lucenero had that weird feeling of regret in him.
