Cheryl walked up the stairs into my trailer and I realized she wasn't in a normal outfit that she usually wears.
She was wearing converse with leggings and a sweater with cherries on it and a fish tail braid in her hair that was loose.

I studied her for a long while as she looked around.

     I cleared my throat.
- uhm, just make yourself at home. You want some coffee?  I asked because I knew I couldnt go back to sleep with her in my house, plus I decided that I should make her feel welcome anyways.

     She sniffed and nodded.
- Yea, sure.  She smiled and I could see her dimples again as I smiled back, staying there for a second.
Why was I smiling at her?

I turned to my kitchen and turned the coffee pot on. I could feel eyes burning into me.

- Cheryl, please stop staring.  I said, pouring the coffee grounds into the filter.

- Sorry, you're just so beautiful...  She said so quietly I barely heard her.

I scoffed and shook my head.

- You're not here to compliment me. You're here to sleep and get some rest.  I tried to sound as nonchalant as I could, but when she said that, my heart almost jumped out of my chest and I dont know why.

      I cleared my throat.
- Creamer and sugar?  I asked, trying to take my mind off the feeling.

- Just black.  She answered.

I turned around and furrowed my eyebrows with a look of disgust.
- Black? Really?

     She smiled and shrugged.
- Yea, it wakes me up more.

I shivered and turned back around.
- You're getting something in it, black is not an exception under this roof.  I chuckled and pulled out some cups.

- But what if i dont want  stuff in it?  Cheryl's tone sounded playful and I could tell she was smiling even though my back was turned against her.

- Oh well.  I smiled to myself, but immediately realized what i was doing and stopped.

there was peaceful silence between us as i poured our cups.  I could hear the birds chirping and her feet tapping on the ground.

cheryl seemed like a nervous person from the looks of it. I only had one class with her and flirting with her while she had her walls up was a different story. She always seemed like this feelingless monster who had no love for anyone but Jason and Toni.

Maybe I'm different? What made me so appealing to her?

I heard Cheryl yawn from behind me.
     Awe, that was sorta cute.

What the fuck?

I shook my head and cleared my throat.

- Would you hurryI heard from behind me and it was closer than it was before.

I turned around swiftly on my heels.

Cheryl was smiling at me, her eyes sparkled.

I smirked.
- Why am I taking too long for you, Sweetie?  I cocked back.

She shrugged and rolled her eyes.
- No it just smells good and I want some. She smiled and she grabbed her cup full of coffee.

- I havent even put sugar and creamer in!  I scoffed. She just does as she pleases doesnt she?

- Doesnt matter, I told you I dont need it.  I rolled my eyes at her response and shook my head, leaning on the counter.

She walked back to the couch and her hips swayed as she put one foot in front of the other.

I smirked.

God I hated seeing her leave but loved watching her go.

A/N: Honestly, I didn't really like this chapter, but it took me back to Chapter 1 Hounder and made me feel nostalgic. I'm ready to see what happens next with them, myself.
