Last time on dragon ball z- wrong script.
In It Begins, Metal Sonic escaped with the first Emerald while the heroes have been left with Cyber, a cyborg kid presumably created by Robotnik. "Agent Jack", a former Metal Sonic and ally of the Freedom Fighters, now designates himself as Cyber's Guardian due to his abilities posing as a threat.

Now, Cyber told the heroes about a Chaos Emerald's next location; the depths of Aquatic Ruin Zone. A Shark named Current offered his help to set up traps for Eggman's robot navy, and Twister, X, Tails and Star have made submarines for the heroes that cannot swim more breathe air.
