"are you sure you have everything?" song lan worriedly asked. it was a week later, and xingchen was waiting in the living room for wei ying and the others. they were spending the night in a beach house which they had just rented.

xingchen nodded with a smile, "yes of course, don't worry, i'll be fine." song lan just sighed out.

"okay, please stay safe, if anything happens call me. i'll be there immediately." song lan said hugging xingchen. the boy just giggled at his friends concern, and hugged back.

he pulled away, "don't worry, i'll be with wei ying and lan zhan, both strong men."

song lan agreed, suddenly many knocks were heard at the door along with giggling. xingchen made his way to the door and opened it, being attacked with a hug.

"xiao xingchen!!" wei ying shouted keeping his arms tightly wrapped around xingchen's neck. the small boy laughed and also wrapped his arms around his best friend.

lan zhan walked in behind wei ying, greeting song lan.

"you ready? we're gonna have so much fun! thank you song lan for letting xingchen spend the night with us at the beach house." xingchen laughed, "wei ying, it was my decision! i'm an adult and able to make my own decisions."

wei ying nodded patting xingchen's head.

"ok, let's be on our way! sizhui's friends are waiting to get picked up still." wei ying said, linking arms with xingchen and lan zhan. xingchen waved to song lan then was on his way.

they all piled into the car, xingchen sat down then when feeling around the seat felt a hand.

"oh, hi xingchen!"

xingchen gasped softly, "ah, sizhui." he hugged him as sizhui snickered. wei ying turned back, "xingchen, what do you want to do there? sizhui and his friends are gonna go to the arcades then the beach of course. lan zhan and i are gonna go to the shops if you'd like to join us."

the blind boy thought for a minute, "i'll join you and lan zhan if that isn't any trouble." wei ying took xingchen's hans.

"of course it isn't! lan zhan and i have lots of time to spend together at the beach house." wei ying said eyeing lan zhan who's ears were turning a soft red. sizhui laughed, as xingchen just sat smiling at wei ying's statement.

they soon arrived, and as lan zhan helped xingchen out of the car while wei ying helped sizhui and his friends, he inhaled the air. the smell of the ocean, soothed him as he exhaled with a smile.

"lan zhan." the other hummed, "is it beautiful?"

lan zhan looked out, "yes. the sun just perfectly radiates off the ocean. which makes the water a light aqua color, it's beautiful."

xingchen tightened his grip on lan zhan's hand, "wangji, i'm so glad you're marrying my best friend."

the sudden compliment made lan zhan's ears turn a bright red. he just hummed again, then felt wei ying's arms wrap around his waist and a giggle.

"cmon lan zhan!! let's go to the water!" the tall man followed him with no objections, while sizhui stood with his friends as they talked about to leave. the small boy looked over at xingchen who stood looking out, when he began walking feeling his way around the car.

sizhui ran over grabbing his hand, "hey, do you need help? i don't want you to get hurt." xingchen felt the hand on his wrist, "aw, thanks sizhui, but i'm fine."
