I am super duper excited that you decided to give this club a chance!  I really hope you find a place here, and enjoy watching our community grow.  Later on in this section, you'll find an application form.  It's straight forward and simple, but first I want to let you in on how the club will work.  

We are definitely going to try and be a team based community.  What that means is that you can choose to be team Anime, God(dess), or Disney.  You can choose an alias if you want (for example: Team Goddess, Aphrodite) but this is not necessary and you don't have to choose a specific place from your team category (i.e. Brave or The Seven Deadly Sins) but you are more than welcome to if you want.  The way your team works is that throughout a 14-day period, you and your teammates work to gain the most points.  Now you're probably thinking that you have to earn those points to stay in the book club right?  Wrong! The points are just there to encourage you to participate.  I will pair you up with another member every 3 or so days, but that's just to nudge you a little to check out all they have to offer.  There will never be any "required" reading, but it'd be way more fun if you participated.  Ooh and also, whenever we grow a bit if there's any interest I'll 500% make a discord or something for us to chat in and have weekly discussions because I want us to all just be like a community and friends. 

Now, onto the serious stuff.  While I'll never kick you for any reason regarding your participation, if you're rude to another member, nasty about their writing, or just outright behaving unruly I will ban you from this book club.  We are a supportive and flourishing community for everyone and everything.  And I do mean everything.  We accept writers of fan-fiction, erotica, fantasy, poetry, and everything else.  If you have any adversity to any genre in particular please include that in your application or privately message me so I know.  Also, make sure you give me a follow and add this book to your library so you'll get updates! Don't worry, I follow back:)

Points system

Like I mentioned earlier, you will never have to obtain or hold a certain number of points to remain in this book club, however there are perks to getting them.  The amount of points you earn shows what an active member you are, and they will be continuous and you can always check how many points you have in the member's page.  Members will large numbers of points will be looked at for titles of authority as the club grows, along with other privileges and prizes I have yet to think of.  

+25 points just for joining

+7 points for every chapter read and commented on of a member's book 

+15 points for ideas pitched to make the book club better

+20 points for weekly discussion participation
