Barely listening to Naomi's sex story, "You have reached the voicemail box of...." sounded through my ears for the 3rd time in a row.
Tre'Vontay wasn't answering any of my calls.
This had been going on for four days now.
The last conversation we had was when he flashed out on me for not being able to chill with him.
I wasn't dodging him on purpose, i had actual shit to do.
Yeah i understand he felt unwanted but ignore me? That's deadass pushing it.

Today was the day i get released.
After 2 whole months & 15 days, i was being released.
Finally.
My recovery turned out better than i had expected it to actually.
I could fully move my whole upper body now.
I could move my legs a little bit, just not enough to walk so i was in a wheelchair.
My mom, aunt, & grandma had been on side of me this whole time, Kaliel & his family were as well.
My dad, my about me dating Kaliel, never came to see me.
Not once.
He never even picked up the phone & called to see how i was doing.
"What you over there staring at ma'am?" said the nurse.
I didn't say anything, just responded with a slight grin.
"Are you ready to leave this place?"
"You know it."
"You'll still have to come in for checkups ofcourse, but after i give you these release papers you can be on your way home."
She smiled at me before turning her back to go get the release papers from another room.
Before she got to the door i stopped her.
"Wait." i said.
"I just want to thank you, for everything. Even when i didn't believe in myself with this recovery thing, you did. I appreciate you so much for that. You held my hand the whole way."
"No problem sweetie, never doubt yourself."
I played with my now showing belly as I waited in my bed patiently on both Kaliel & my release papers.
Everyday I thank God that i'm still here.

I was driving back home from going to the grocery store with Destanni & felt like it was a good enough time to see if she really had her eyes on my bestfriend.

I slightly punched her shoulder while making a high pitched tone & saying "Awe shit my girl gotta lil C-R-U-S-H and shit!"

"She just got out a real bad relationship, add emphasis on the bad. I know she's not ready this fast."

"That's just a better opportunity to get one up on them."
