Chapter 2: He's Going To Be A Father

Natsu's P.O.V

I didn't hear the rest of the instructions. All I heard that it was Nashi and I ran.

"I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER!!!" I screamed running around the guild.
"Congratulations Natsu!" Many guild members cheered.
"He is so manly!" Elfman cried.
"Wait Natsu." Makarov said

The guild was silent.

"Who is the mother?" He asked with a worried expression.
"Luce, why?" I asked him.
"Because her or the baby might not live. If the baby survives she won't live. If the mother survives the baby won't live." he said.
"What?" I asked "This isn't true."
"I'm sorry my boy, but that's part of the dragon slayer blood."
"NO IT ISN'T!! We can change this!! Wendy will help! No one is dying!!" I screamed in a rage.

Fire was everywhere. They couldn't control me.

"Elfman, Laxus! Hold him down."Gramps said.

I kicked Elfman and punched Laxus in the gut. They both grabbed my arms and pinned me down. I started to breath fire everywhere out of my mouth. Spiting, and shooting it at people. Everyone was terrified. Soon I saw a fist with electricity all over it coming straight towards my face. Everything went black.

"He has been out for over an hour." A small voice said "Also Lu-chan has been on IV's because the baby has been growing at an abnormal rate. She didn't hear anything that went on."
"That's good. We can't cause any stress on them or anyone else." a raspy voice said.

I opened my eyes and saw Gramps talking with Levy.

"Where is Lucy I want to see her!" I said jumping up.

When I got up I was yanked back by chains on my wrists and ankles.

"What's going on! Let me see her!!" I yelled pulling the chains.
"Sorry my boy. You will only hurt her." Gramps said crying.
"No I promise I won't." I said pulling harder.

Next a loud pop was heard and my ankle was popped out of place. I almost started crying but it just made me angrier.

"I don't care if I hurt myself! I want to see Lucy!!!" I screamed breathing flames.
I started to cry, "I just want to see Luce."

"Let the poor boy go gramps! Let him go to her! He is hurting himself for her why can't you see that he loves her?" Laxus screamed
"Yeah let him go! It is an act of true love!" Mirajane screamed.
"Let him go so he can be a man!" Elfman screamed.

Soon the whole guild started to protest.
I started to use all of that energy and turn it into hope for the both of us. I again pulled on the chains hearing another popping sound. Soon the chains were cutting into my wrist and blood started to go on the floor. Everyone in the guild then gasped.

"Look at him you fools! He is now unstable! We need him to calm down so he won't accidentally hurt Luce!" Gramps screamed.
I looked up crying and gave him a weak smile, "Why would I hurt her. I love her and the baby. No matter what it is my will to protect them. Isn't that what it says when you get married?"

One of the wizard council members popped up named Mest.
"What seems to be the problem. There is a huge ruckus heard from inside of the guild! Are you guys having a party or destroying a town again?" He stated.

Gramps whispered something in his ear and then I was knocked out. I woke up with no memory of what happened.

"Oi Natsu, you hit your head again!" Erza said.
"Oh..I must haven't remembered that." I said grinning "What's up with the bandages on my wrists and the cast on my ankle?"
"You hurt yourself on a mission." Levy said.
"Oh. Hey where is Lucy?" I said jumping up.
"Thank you Mest." Gramps nodded as Mest left.
"Oi!! What'd I miss! Why can't I remember anything?" I screamed in confusion.

Just then after I asked for Lucy memories came flooding back about being a father and being her fiancé.

"Wait. I am Lucy's fiancé and Lucy is pregnant!! That's all I remember!! Can I see her?" I said getting off the floor.
"Calm down you just hurt yourself." Mirajane said blocking the door "Let her rest. Go on some jobs to get some jewel for the baby's clothes."
"Ok. Hey Erza, Gray, Wendy, Charle! Wanna come with me?" I asked.
"I can't I gotta help Lucy but Charle can!" Wendy said.
"No, I ca-"said Charle
"Of course you can!! Go on!!" Wendy said shooing her.
"Sure we would love to go!" Erza said side hugging Gray
"Yeah 'sure'." Gray said emphasizing the sure.
"Yay!! I chose this one!" I said grabbing a random paper.
"Natsu! That isn't a job that's a poster you idiot!!" Gray shouted.
"Oops I chose this one then!" I said pulling a paper.

Whelp!! That's it!! I wonder what job they chose?? I am sorry if I update late. I am currently sick again and am not feeling well. The good news is I am finally learning trumpet from a good friend!! I wanna ask a question..if you are in a dance group and no one would dance with you, how would you feel if one of your guy friends left your best friend to dance with you and no one would dance with your best friend??
