As I turned the handle and thrust open the door with all my effort, I stood, baffled at what I saw. Never in my eternity had I seen such marvels that stood before me. Gates, one obsidian and one of brass. They loomed over me as I stood, speechless of awe. I noticed a hooded figure standing between them. I asked what to do from here. The figure only replied in the deepest, booming voice I had ever heard. It echoed throughout the clouded area and felt as if it tore through me to get there. It only said; "CHOOSE". As the voice tore through me, I decided I was drawn to the obsidian gate. I reached towards it but could never move my feet. I tried my wings, only to find that I couldn't seem to muster the energy. I began to fall, helplessly to the ground. Falling and falling, it seemed I would die on impact. Right before I hit the ground though, I heard the voice. "AWAKEN ANGEL OF DEATH".
Suddenly I was awake. In my bed, with Avenged Sevenfold playing in the background. "HAIL TO THE KIIIIIINNNGGG. HAAIILL TOO THEE-" I switched it off. "Jebus. Quite the dream." I said, not thinking much. God I'm hungry. I stepped down the stairs. They're made of marble. And cold. I thought my feet would freeze off. I decided I didn't want to be on the stairs, which went on for three of our seven floors. And went to go back up when suddenly, I was in the air. "What the hell?!?" I somehow floated down to the bottom floor. Then landed lightly. Oookkkkaaaayyyyy. Well then. I went to the bathroom and looked into my floor length, wall to wall mirror. I took off my shirt quickly and turned around to see my back. What I found left me dumbfounded. And confused. And what I saw was...
