!! As a heads up, the fanfictions mentioned in this chapter are completely made up, and in no way am I here to poke fun at possibly existing stories (: !!

"How about this one? 'Love Story', a Wilbur x reader fanfiction," Wilbur points his phone screen in my direction as I giggle at the vivid Wattpad description beneath it. We decided to read it to the camera, but having already filmed for about an hour, it was a bit less efficiently read than the previous fanfictions. Either way, Wilbur and I ended up in fits of laughter each time, specifically picking out the terribly written stories to critique and put on display. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea, but it sure was funny and clickable.

It's been a week since I came home from PAX East. Everyone was slowly settling back into their places and life was flowing like an endless stream of fun and games. I was surely enjoying the extra attention I got from being and accidentally intruding people's vlogs, Tweets and posts from the convention, but every time I thought of it like that, a slightly sickening feeling spread to my stomach, making me shake off the idea of views being my focal point. They helped me survive, for sure, but I also had to help myself live.

"Okay, right, final one - 'Pax East', featuring Alexa and Schlatt-" Wilbur began but I instantly cut him off.

"No way, no, no," My tone runs serious and I instead search for another fanfiction with an angsty scene to finish off the video on a high note, including some acting out and fancy editing to add on to the end. Wilbur agrees, but questions my choice nonetheless.

"Because I don't really wanna put whatever Schlatt and I have going on on display, y'know?" I respond, not looking up from the laptop in front of me. I didn't really believe myself as the words I spoke sounded cold and distant, but I it was an excuse not to mess with the feelings in my mind any more than I already do.

"What is going on?" Will ponders after a pause, more to himself than anybody else occupying his surroundings, and the only thing I can give back to his wonders is a blank glance over my shoulder, signaling it was useless asking that question at this point in time.

After finishing up the video and outro with a few acted out scenes from the fics and a few jokes, I packed away the equipment as Wilbur took it upon himself to order us some Chinese take out. He was planning to spend a few more evening hours in my apartment, not necessarily willing to go home walking and end up soaked by the pure London rain on the way. I, of course, obliged to his proposition and started up Netflix on the TV, but also kept the consoles on the floor plugged in just in case. I filmed my gaming videos with consoles in the living room, so there was always the temptation to engulf myself into the world of virtual life.

The food arrived, we chatted and criticized the movie playing as we ate, but not long after, it became a pain for me to sit still. I got up, carried an empty suitcase onto the living room floor from my bedroom, and began making a list on my phone of the things I needed to pack before I began to do so.

"What's even the point of watching the movie if you're gonna be bloody packing," Will snickers from the couch as I look up from my phone.

"I'm still watching; I'm really good at multitasking, should you know," I scrunch my nose at the curly-haired brunette sitting to my side, and start to bring some toiletries from the bathroom to the living room to neatly place inside.

"I find it so weird: I'm not even in your related character cast, but Pewdiepie is..You've never even filmed with him" Wilbur pipes up without taking his eyes off the screen, and rests his head on his palm.

I shrug and sigh, letting the man continue, knowing his vents never end quickly. I've realized that it wasn't the best idea to show him the email..

"I mean, you've got Schlatt and whatnot for your love interest, but I reckon it should've been Charlie," He mumbles into his chest, and quickly turns to face me after his comment. "Ignore that."

"Huh?" I look away from my things and glue my eyes onto Wilbur. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't focused on him enough to capture what he was saying, so his words seemed to fly past me for the last few minutes. "What did you say?"

"Nothing, nothing. Bird Box's just shit," Will glues his eyes to the screen once more as I snort.

  "Late to the party, Soot."
