THE BOYFRIEND

Ever since this morning my mom has been laughing on her phone and hasn't moved once. "Who new mom could text?" McKenzie said. But I thought the most impressive thing is that Kim and her hasn't fought yet. While I was at the table, the doorbell rang. "Hello" I said to the man with a coat and a bright smile on. "Good morning to you to Kendal." He said, but at the same time I looked over to my mom and she was slowly making her way to the door with a nervous smile, kind I've like she new him. I didn't really pay attention to what they were talking about because I was to busy wondering how he new my name. Out of nowhere my mom invited him in. "Mom what are you doing? He could be an kidnapper or a man who kills kids!" When I said that they thought I was kidding and stopped laughing after I gave them a look. My mom had a look in her eyes that said ~that's rude Kendal your in big trouble. I didn't get why I thought that I mean he's a stranger. "Guys I need to tell y'all something, this is my boyfriend Jarret." My mom said with a smile. My eyes widened from shock. Why did this happen? Actually how did this happen?How did they meet? Where all the questions in my head.All my sisters faces changed while mom and her boyfr- you know what i mean was smileing. I dont think my mom thinks where unhappy, nobody can replace dad. When Mckenzie and i were getting ready for gymnastics, i asked her, " What do you think of our step dad?" " He is not and never will be our step dad he can't replace dad!" she said." Come on Mckenzie, it's pretty clear they like each other that much." "Why do you think this so much do you aprove?" I told her i didn't like it but we couldn't tell mom she would be brocken. After that she rolled her eyes at me.
