Anguish

It was Sunday evening. I was getting ready to go to  gymnastics practice. Getting my hair done in the mirror was a disaster. It was a sideways ponytail ; and a purple zebra- print bow that matched my leotard. I was finally done getting ready so I walked out of my room. As I went to the staircase, I decided to practice a back tuck. The only reason I did this is because the coach said I'm getting a little rusty and not focusing enough. All I remembered was I was up in mid air but when I came down was the problem. I landed on the carpeted stairs but lost my balance. My left ankle twisted on the second to last step and I tumbled down the stairs. I landed on the wooden floor at the entry way of my house. '' Help ''  Was all I yelled and that seemed to get my mother out of the bedroom. She stood on top of the staircase in her robe with a face mask on. When she saw me, a look of anguish appeared on her face. Mom ran down the stairs but by the time she got to me I already knew what happened to my ankle.   '' Are you okay? Jarred. Jarred! '' Teardrops soaked my leotard and my sobs only could say how I was felling.  Jarred came to the staircase and  looked confused;  urgent.  He saw what happened and ran down the stairs. Jarred picked me up and cradled me. '' We need to take her to a hospital .''  He said, his voice was a little shaken during the last part of that statement. Jarred and I where out the door while mom went inside to get Kim, McKenzie, Ashley, Maddie, and Brianna. Jarred put me in the back seat of  his car. Five minutes later my mom and the girls where here. As we drove out of our neighborhood, nothing happened; everyone was quiet. We where nine miles away from the hospital but we ran into traffic. '' Crap,''  I said out loud. I tried to move my ankle around to see if it was a dream. Was I actually injured. This couldn't be real; I was saying to myself. I looked out the window for a little bit to keep my mind off of things . I saw a motorcycle. It was a Harley Davidson . It was speeding at a fast paste. It jumped in front of Jarred and in front of another car. It made the other car crashed into a mini van. Jarred slammed on the brakes and my mom and sisters came forward, and banged there head. For me, I had it worst, my body collapse on the back of moms chair then on the ground. I could hear a crash a glass coming through the windows. I realized the car  was crashed and totaled. '' You'll be alright .''   Is the last thing I herd coming from Jarred's mouth.
