"Leilani, wake up."

I heard Breanna saying into my ear, but I was tired, and I didn't want to open my eyes just yet. The dream that I was having until she interrupted was just getting good. Damn you, Breanna, I wanted to see how it ended.

I slowly opened my eyes, saw her hovering over me, smiling with those big green eyes of hers, and tiredly groaned, "What time is it?"

"It's eight in the morning, and we're hungry," Breanna complained.

I sighed, grabbed the pillow beside me, and placed it over my face after Alexandra opened the curtains, allowing the sun to shine right into my eyes. "I just went to bed, and I don't want to get up yet," I groaned, sounding muffled by the pillow. "Close the curtains," I demanded.

She giggled while removing the pillow from my face and held it in her arms. "Come on. We have lots to do today. Why did you go to bed so late, anyway?"

"I couldn't sleep. So, I laid in bed in for a bit, thinking, before finally falling asleep two hours ago," I moaned, then the corner of one side of my mouth slightly curved upward when the man I met at the blackjack table, the same man who I was dreaming about flashed before my eyes. He was so damn good-looking, with his strong jawline and those piercing blue eyes of his that stood out from his perfect complexion, thick eyebrows, and dark-colored disheveled hair—disheveled in an attractive-looking way. God, he was yummy. And that kiss. Oh, God. That kiss he surprised me with. Wow. It was wonderfully impressive.

Interrupting my train of thought, Breanna spoke. "Leilani? Hello..." she asked and, with the palm of her hand, she pushed my forehead, getting me out of the trance I was in. "What's with the smirk? That smirk on your face makes it look like you just got laid or that you're about to orgasm. One of the two," she giggled.

I snatched the pillow back out of Breanna's hands and rested it against my chest, hugging it while smiling. Then hummed as I spoke, "I met the most beautiful and sexiest man down at the blackjack tables this morning. He was perfect and extremely charming. And what shocked me the most about him was he knew the Hawaiian language," I said in awe. "Making him even more charming by the way he spoke it."

"Get your head out of the clouds, will you?" Breanna said, playfully shoving me, then she grabbed the pillow and quickly removed the blanket from me. "Now get your butt out of bed. We're all starving. Besides, we're not here to meet men; we're here to have fun and to have the time of our lives before I get married in two weeks."

I groaned while sitting up, shoving her away from me. "I'm up. I'm up... but Bre, you should have seen him. He was so dreamy."

"Cool, he probably was a dream. But you do know you'll probably never see him again, right? Unless you got his phone number," she snickered. "Knowing you, you didn't get that from him."

"Probably not," I pouted. "And no, I didn't," I sighed while getting off the bed. I headed over to my suitcase, and as I grabbed my clothes, I remembered him saying he was from Hawaii.

That's a bonus. Right?

Who am I kidding, anyway? Me? Men like that only decide to show in your dreams. Shit, was I dreaming? Thinking he was only a dream, I reached for my purse, looked inside, saw the chips I never cashed in, and smiled. He's real.

As I showered, I continued thinking of him with a part of me, hoping I'd run into him again. As large as the strip is, I'm almost sure it'll never happen.

Ugh.

Breanna's right. I'm here with my friends, and I shouldn't be out looking for men. I quietly giggled and spoke to myself as I shaved my legs; I'm not out looking for men. I'm looking for him.
