This is a short chapter.
Wangji has been driving with nowhere really in mind. The only thing that was on his mind was what had just happened. He knew that he couldn't see his uncle ever again, the man who has raised him and his brother since their parents passed. He has disappointed his uncle, but he doesn't feel any regret.
He really just wanted to see Wei Ying, to see his smile. Wei Ying was his everything, he has waited 13 years to see this man again; he wasn't about to let him go again.
He went to his phone, and chose a song to listen to; it was Eric Chou's "Unbreakable Love".

He went to his room, he was going to be in this hotel for a while. He has been thinking of getting an apartment somewhere, he knew he couldn't just go from hotel to hotel every time he has a job. He wanted to have at least one place that was permanent.
It was almost 9 pm, almost time for him to go to sleep. He went to take a shower, get changed, and to brush his tooth.
Before going to bed, he did something that he would never have done before. He took out his phone and texted Wei Ying.
"I miss you"- Wangji
With that, he went to sleep. After a while, his phone vibrated.
"I miss you too."- Wei Ying
