Meanwhile, at the table; Lan Wangji was staring at Wei Wuxian drinking water. Wei Wuxian didn't know what to do, He's not used to getting this much attention. Except from his sister, and Uncle Jiang Feng Mian.

"Lan Zhan, can you stop staring at me? I feel like your eyes are going to eat me."

"Mmm."

Lan Zhan had been staring at Wei Ying ever since he got back from the bathroom. It was making Wei Ying very aware of Lan Zhan's presence.

"Again with the 'mmm', what am I going to do with you?"

"Mmm."

Wei Wuxian shook his head.

"Lan Zhan, are you okay if your brother liked men?"

"Yes."

"Aww, that's nice of you."

"Do you like anyone Lan Zhan?"

"Mmm."

Wei Ying felt his heart drop.

"He likes someone?" thought Wei Ying

"Really, who is it? Is it a girl?"

"No."

"Oh, it's a guy?"

"Yes."

Wei Wuxian spat out his water that he was drinking, did he hear right? Did Lan Wangji just say that he liked him? Wei Wuxian's heart starts to pound faster and faster.

"W-what did you say Lan Zhan?"

"I like you."

"Wow, so straightforward."

"Do you like me?"

"Aren't there rules about this?"

"Don't care."

"Wow, the one and only Lan Wangji is breaking rules."

Lan Wangji grabbed Wei Wuxian's arm, dragged him out of the restaurant and into his car. He started the car and drove away, He texted Jiang Cheng saying that he is now being held hostage by Lan Wangji. After 5 minutes there was still no reply from his brother.

"Great." thought Wei Wuxian

"Lan Zhan, where are you taking me."

"Back to the hotel."

Wei Wuxian's mind wanders, this causes Wei Wuxian to go bright red, he shocked his head trying to get rid of the thoughts.

When they got to the hotel, Lan Wangji grabbed Wei Wuxian and lifted him over his shoulder. They went up the elevator like this, thankfully there was no one else in the elevator. When the elevator reached the floor of Lan Zhan's room, they got off and Lan Zhan look out the key and opened the door.

"Lan Zhan, can you put me down now?"

"No."

"Why?"

"You'll run away."

"I won't run away, I promise."

Lan Zhan looked at Wei Wuxian but still didn't put the latter down. They end up going to the bedroom, Lan Zhan locks the door and puts Wei Wuxian on to the bed. Lan Zhan leaves the room and brings some alcohol for Wei Ying.

Lan Zhan comes back with a bottle of wine called "Tian Zi Xiao". Apparently this wine is the best of the best.

"Oh, Lan Zhan you drink?"
