Chapter 4

Payten POV
Well we got done moving our rooms pretty quickly. 8:00 hit kinda fast and now I'm on FaceTime with Kota getting ready for the party. "Babe are you sure you still wanna go? I mean she is known as the meanest girl at our school and she is manipulative." Kota said sighing afterward "Don't worry baby we probably won't even see her. Plus all I want to do is hang out with you so we'll stay outta trouble." I said while changing my shirt "I guess it won't be that bad then." Kota said while bitting his lip "Ok baby I'll call you when I get their. I love you." I said about to hang up "I love you too." He said blushing he then hung up. He is so cute. I know what your thinking y'all are already saying I love you. Well it's not what you think maybe we've only been going out for 5 months but it feels like forever he's my soulmate. I'm just glad that he is finally able to say it back he use to be shy about it. "Come on Payten or we're gonna be late." Aijalon shouted into Cj and I's room. I then grabbed my shoes and headed downstairs. "You guys need to be back here by 10:30 no later then you got it." Dad said while crossing his arms meaning he was serious. "Yes sir." We said in unison "Ok now you guys know what we have taught you. Right?" Mama said looking at all of us sternly. "Yes mama we know." I said looking up at my parents. "Aijalon do you have your hearing aid?" Mama questioned looking over at Aijalon lifted her hair up so that mama could see that she had her hearing aid on. "You know I just want you to be safe right." Mama told her while she looked her in her eyes. "You guys wait for us in the living room." Mama said we all made our way to the living room.

Aijalon POV
Mama looked down at me and smiled. "Your beautiful you know that and I love you." Mama said kissing my forehead "I know Mama and I love you too." I said looking up at him. "Ok you guys gotta get going." Mama said he's the best. We walked to the living room everyone waiting by the door dad and father were talking to them about something.

Payten POV
We got to her house pretty quickly. We actually got there at the same time as Kota. "Kota!" I yelled out to get his attention he ran over to me and gave me a hug I haven't seen in a while since he went to camp. "Hey babe." He said then gave me a kiss. It was a sweet peck on the lips. "Eww.." Cj said afterwards pretending to gag "Shut up Cj your just jealous." I said looking over at him while wrapping my arm around Kota waist. "Whatever." Cj said rolling his eyes we finally arrived at the house it was lit up with party lights and you could here the music from a mile away it felt like. "I thought you said this was gonna be a small party Aijalon." I said look over at her "Well she kinda sorta invited the whole 9th grade." She said avoiding eye contact "Are you serious." Kyle said his eyes going wide "yeah I'm pretty sure." She said "We'll I guess it's now or never." I said as we walked up to the house. "As we walked there were kids dancing and kids in the pool. It was nice Madison then comes up to us and pulls Aijalon away while Ashton and Miles go get a drink. Then Cj saw some of his friends and ventured off. That Kota and I alone. "Well what do you wanna do." I semi yelled at him the music being loud. "Well I kinda need something to drink." He said looking up at me "Ok let's go then." We walked through the living room to the kitchen where their were drinks in coolers on with just regular sodas and the other with alcoholic drinks. Kota went over and got a fruit punch. Looking over at me he asked "Want anything babe?" "Yeah get me a beer." I said he grabbed it for me but then hesitated "Promise me you won't get drunk like last time." He told me looking me in my eyes. "I promise baby I won't." He gave it to me reluctantly. He didn't like that I drank be I couldn't help it. My parents always set a good example for me but I started drinking when I was in my last relationship it was my escape. So it's not like I could just stop. She was the one who got me addicted to it every time we were together we would get almost black out drunk. That's another reason why I can't stand Opal but I'm here for Aijalon so I'm not gonna make everything about me. But so help me if she tries to start some shit I don't know if I'll be able to hold back. I grab the bottle opener from off the table opening my drink and taking a sip. "So what now baby." I said bring my gaze down to his eyes "Well we could always dance." He said while swaying to the song Cyber Sex. He then started coming closer to me while singing the chorus. "I wanna touch on you. You see me in room. Wish you were here right now all of the things I'd do. I wanna get freaky on camera I love when we get freaky on camera." He kinda shouted I chuckled a little in response. "Oh really" I said looking him up and down slowly. He bit his lip and got close to my ear "Yeah let's go somewhere more private." He whispered as he grabbed my wrist and lead me to the bathroom.

Ashton POV
Miles and I walked to the backyard after getting a drink. "Hey I'm gonna go get another drink. I'll be right back." Miles told me while walking off. I stood crossing my arms a bit while I sipped on my drink. Then I heard some voices off in the distance. "You should go talk to him if you think he's so cute." One of them said "I-I don't know he was just with that guy." With that I looked over to see a group of three boys with the one in the middle just saying that. "Come on bro that's probably just his friend go talk to him." Another on said. They were talking about me because they were looking over at me. This is a party I'm gonna stop being shy I'm gonna go talk to him. I gulped down the rest of my drink. Then walk over to the three of them when I was in front of them they hushed up and looked at me. "Um hey that guy he's my brother soo...yeah." I said then giggled a bit "So you heard us sorry about that my friend just thought that you were really cute. By the way my names Noah." Noah said I giggled again "that's Aj." Noah said pointing to the boy with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. "This is Jared aka the one that thinks your cute. You guys should definitely go get a drink together." Noah said pointing at Jared. He was really cute he was almost a whole foot taller than me considering I am 5'0. His scent was like an ocean mixed with the sweet smell of flowers. He had dark blue eyes and tan skin. He had black hair that was really curly. He was really hot. "I would like that if you wanna go I just got done with this drink so...um." I said looking down at my feet blushing a bit "I'd love that." Jared said as he came over to me and we walked to get a drink. This is nice.
