THE BIG FAT BALL
Candice
Ghost, that was my first thought when I saw Daphne. Her long white hair floated around her and she looked part Asian - slim and graceful - her eyes were almond-shaped, a brown that saw right through me. The things that she told me made sense, well up until the point she started telling me about me and my ability to control fire. The thing is... fire and I, we aren't that close. Of course, all my life I have been told that my bright red hair looks like fire or like it is on fire. But unfortunately ever since the death of my parents, me and my siblings, we try to stay away from fire or heat in general.
Now at least I know what is causing the dreams, Daphne cleared that much. She also told me about my Synd... never mind I can't seem to pronounce it. She told me about my Link, that part is still hard to register, after all, it isn't every day that you find out that you are magically linked to the princess of Oridian. I have seen the princess one or two times, now as I recall I remember her eyes, they were green and her hair was blonde.
Daphne explained that I needed to find or meet up with the others. It is with a startling shock I realize that my reaction to this is... well... normal. I am not freaking out. My brain is not going into overdrive, and somehow I seem to believe it. That all of this, whatever some lady told me while I was sleeping, is true. But somewhere in my mind (I don't know where) something tells me it's all right, that this is supposed to happen.
I am going to follow my intuition. Besides I have nothing to lose, the majority of the things or people I cared about are gone. I already know what I am going to do. But I am going to need the help of my siblings and Chase. That part hurts, knowing that I might never see them for a long while if my plan works out. Something tells me that this might be the most important choice I make in my entire life. I need to go; I need to find my purpose.

That was the strangest dream ever. I don't want to believe it, but what the lady, Daphne or whatever said made sense or I could be going crazy. The latter is starting to sound better than the former. Sitting in bed and thinking about it doesn't help either. Just as I am about to go and get ready, Andy shoots up and starts to breathe heavily. His brown hair is dishevelled and his eyes dart around the room searching for something or someone.
"Oh my god, be a little more careful Andy! You almost broke my nose."
"The lady, eyes...I saw these pale blue eyes, an army and..."
"Wait, wait. Slow down. Breathe. Humans need to breathe." I try to calm him.
"We, we... Alex, did you have a dream?
"Oh my stars, you had a dream too. A lady telling you that we have some sort of power or something."
"Yeah, yeah...We are Gifted..."
"Okay Andy, relax, control your breathing we don't want to wake up everyone in the neighbourhood. Now, tell me about your dream."
And then for the next twenty minutes, I let Andy talk. Majority of his dream was like my except for him seeing blue eyes or whatever, just like I saw Stephen's eyes in my dream. The eyes were probably of his Link. But the wisp had conveyed one main message: we have to find the others.
"Andy are you sure about this?" I ask my brother feeling weary about the plan we had come up with.
"Yes I am, I know that we shouldn't probably trust the lady we saw in our dreams but I have this strange feeling that whatever she said is true. Come on, we both had the same dream that's weird."
