Chapter 3

"Hey mom" I say walking into the kitchen.

"Morning sweetheart." She turns around to face me and hands me a container full of my favorite fruit with this type of spicy season thing you put on fruit with a fork inside of it already.

I start to eat my makeshift fruit salad my mom made me and thank her after.

"Bye mom" I say with a mouthful of fruit, I give her a kiss on the cheek and walk outside.

I sit on my swing my dad made for me that's hanging from the tree branch and eat my fruit waiting for Jason to arrive.

He practically forced me last night over the phone to agree to let him pick me up this morning.

Speaking of the devil he speeds down the street in his car this time thank god ! Because I will never throw away a perfect delious fruit salad made by the one and only me, well technically my mom but it was my idea.

I walk towards his car put my bag in the backseat and hope in the front. I buckle the seat belt and start to eat my fruit again.

What is that Jason ask driving off.

I look at the bowl of fruit and in a mouthful I say various fruit but comes out more like "dairy rules".

Yea I'm so classy the queen of England is so jealous cause I'm way classier then her hahaha.

What ? Jason asks laughing.

I swallow the fruit and say again "various fruit".

Ohhhhhhh. Can I taste ?

I do a over egasserated gasp and say you want to try my famous fruit bowl.

Sure I say nonchalantly.

But I say interrupting him, for each fruit you chew or swallow or whatever is 10,000 bucks I say putting a hand out.

Jason presses down on the breaks hard sending my body forward but thank god for the seatbelt pulling me back but I'm sure I have a bruise on my chest downward my stomach.

What the hell I screech be more careful you could've killed me and the fruit then who will be responsible for the futures famous hand made fruit salad !?

Jason gives me a bewildered look making me burst out laughing.

I sober up but still see the shocked look on Jason's face.

I realize that he thinks I'm serious I lean over the console and give him a kiss on the lips, when I try to pull away he puts his hand around my neck and brings his lips to mine and kisses me again sending butterfly's soaring in my stomach.

He pulls away from the kiss and stares into my eyes before saying, I'm sure you can consider giving a free sample to best friend he says amusement playing in his eyes and a smirk forming on his lips.

I sigh and say fine.

I but my fork in the bowl trying together as much fruit on the fork and feed him the fruit.

He chews the fruit and all of sudden his face turns sour. I want to laugh so bad but I just can't just for his sake.

He takes a shaky swallow and turns to me with disgusted edged across his face.

Don't tell me you had kiwi in there he begs.

I burst out laughing. I forgot he doesn't like kiwi and I'm pretty sure there was like 4 kiwis on the fork.

MADDY ! You know I hate kiwi he says pouting. I stop laughing look at him and burst out laughing again I forget I'm sorry I say in between laughs.

He shakes his head and drives off to the school.

The rest of the car ride was silent except for the radio playing rock music.

I manage to eat my fruit without spitting it out all over the dash board because of the look on Jason's face.

I put the lid one the container and put it in my bag.

Jason parks the car takes the keys and stuff it in his pocket and gets out the car without another word.

I sigh and get out and walk around the car and block Jason from leaving.

Are you really mad I ask putting a are-you-serious-face on.

Yes he deadpans.

I sigh and let out a chuckle I'm sorry I say pulling on his leather jacket and getting on my tippy toes to put my face close to his so he can see my pouty face with the big puppy eyes. I'm good at manipulating people like that.

Please stop that he says smiling and wrapping his arms around me.

I smile and make my eyes even bigger if that's even possible.

His smile just gets bigger making me smile in return fine he says groaning I forgive you.

Yay ! I jump up and kiss him on the cheek and walk towards the school doors.

What are we doing today I yell jumping up and down on the bleachers like a mad woman.

Hyper active dog.

I stop jumping on the same spot Vanessa's sitting at with Elliot.

I bend down and glare at her.

Oh I can be so much more then a hyper active dog so much more even a hyper active bit-

Come on shortcake. Jason grabs my waist and pulls me towards him and sit me down while he sits on my right so I don't attack Vanessa.

Stop laughing El. I say through gritted teeth.

He gives me a goofy smile before saying something that might get him punch if it wasn't for Jason's strong arms holding my waist not letting go at all it just gets tighter and tighter the more I struggle kinda like quicksand except the earth isn't eating you or me in this momment.

Cassidy slaps her hand over Elisio's mouth and uses the other hand to wrap around his neck.

I shoot her grateful look and glare at Elisio.

Let go Jason I say trying my best to wring Elie with my hands.

Jason uses his other to wrap around my arms blocking them from hurting Elisio.

What ? He deserves to die today any other day he can have his life just not today.

Who does Maddison hate now ? Elliot ask.

Bud out Elliot this is an ABCD conversation I say still glaring at his idiot of a twin who is looking at me smugly.

Oh if I were you I would wipe that smirk off your face I say clenching my jaw.

Oh is someone getting angry he mocked.

Yea ! And if that someone isn't calmed down then a boy named Elisio who his friends call El or Ellie is gonna die I say growling the last part.

He squint's his eyes and gets closer to me.

Elliot awkardly coughs when I get closer to his idiot brother.

Try me. He says smirking again.

That's it ! Snacking my palms on the bleachers bench I stand up and push Elisio and lunge at him to fully attack until 4 pair of arms grab both of my arms pulling me back and sitting me down on the bench again.

I struggle to get out of Jason and Elliot's arms.

Cassidy helps Elisio up and after starts laughing at him.

Shut up he mumbles rubbing up and down his bicep.

Ooooohhhh I hope I left a bruise that would so make my freaking day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
