MEK AND BOSS "COULD IT BE...."

TWO

~MEK'S POV~

"Where is he?" Mek asked himself in his mind when Boss has not arrived yet. He is usually early, it is now 30 minutes past eight and their professor just arrived.

A lot of scenarios running through his mind and making him dizzy.

"Tee, Boss is not yet here and I've been calling him his not answering, maybe he is sick, I think I should check on him" Mek said without catching a breath as Tee just stared at the worried face in front of him.

Mek pick up his things and shoved it in his bag with hands shaking and about to stand up to leave when...

"Mek, you are called on to the Auditorium for rehearsal, your director just called, you are excused" his professor said.

Mek spaced out, just stared up front of the class, contemplating if he will leave to go to Boss or to the Auditorium.

"Hey Mek, did you hear me? GO NOW !" his professor now standing in front of him , flicking his fingers in front of Mek's eyes snapping him out of his trance.

"Oh umm yes Sir"

"Tee....." he said looking at Tee with pleading eyes as if saying to check on Boss. and Tee understood.

Among their friends, only Tee knows what he really feels about Boss and the former pitied him for not confessing what he feels to Boss because of his fear of loosing him if he would know, he is just contented of being the"silent husband to his unrully wife." Tee just shook his head while Mek made his way out of the room.

"Cut!" the director shouted.

"Mek are you ok? Why are just staring past Fon?"
"You should deliver your line not just stare at her!"

It's been the 4th take and Mek can't deliver his line, he was just staring with his concerned sad eyes.

"Let's take a 5 minute break" says the director.

"What's wrong with you today," Fon asked, she was sipping her drink while looking at Mek with brows furrowed.

"N.. n nothing," he replied as he was staring blankly at the screen of his cellfone waiting for something.

Rrrr

Mek swiped on his phone to answer moving his phone to his ear,"he's here" said Tee.

And with that he let out a sigh of relief.

When the rehearsal resumed, he was able to finish 4 scenes with just one take on each.

"Great job everyone, I'll see you all tomorrow for the dress rehearsal ok?"

"Hey Mek, do you have class after this? Do you want to grab a bite with me?" asked Fon.

"Uhmmm yeah, I need to back now" Mek replied as he hurried out of the auditorium without looking back at Fon. Smiling silly as his "wife" is ok and waiting for him.
