"What really happened with Fon"

"Are you going somewhere today?" Boss asked..

Fon saw Boss waiting for her outside of her classroom, it was unusual because he only comes to her if she ask or call him.

"Uh no.. I'm going staight home.."

"Can you stay with me for just a bit?" Boss asked in a serious tone.

They went to a cafe nearby.

They ordered drinks and while waiting, Fon asked Boss who is now deep in his thoughts.

"Is there something bothering you?"

"Uhmmm...uh" Boss unable to find the right words, just looking down at his palm.

"Is it Mek?" Fon slowly asked.

"Huh...uhmm...what?"

"Hey you can't hide it from me...I know there's something special between you and Mek"

"You don't look at me the way you look at Mek, you don't smile at me they way you smile when you see him and when we are togethet, you always talk about Mek"

"Uhmmm.. Fon... "

"Sometimes I wished ...I was Mek" Fon said while sipping her drinks looking intently at the person in front of her.

"But hey, I know you've been bestftiends for a long time, but do you really feel that he is just a bestfriend? "

"But...Fon..."

"Hey, it's ok...." Fon cupping Boss' left cheek with her right hand...

"You'll figure it out right? When you do...call me."

And just like that Fon left the cafe, leaving Boss to his thoughts.

Mark heard someone singing as he approached his destination...

He saw Boss singing in front of Mek...

He saw the expression on Mek's face...

And for the first time he saw those eyes light up...what used to be so sad is now filled with joy.

He turned his back from the scene as he could not take what would come next, he heard clapping and teasing from their friends.....

He felt a stabbing pain in his heart

"As long as he is happy....." he uttered with his hand in his chest.
