Ten minutes were still left before the end of lunch break.

Soojin decided to go back to the classroom and spend some time by herself.

She sat on her seat by the window and looked out at the sky. She tried her best not to think about the incident that happened on the rooftop, but it came drifting back to her mind.

Soojin had had a crush on Taehyung for a long time now. It's probably not a crush at this point as she had been holding feelings for him since 6th grade.

But Taehyung was a popular boy know for his friendly nature and good looks. And due to his popularity a lot of girls had their eyes on him. Even though everyone knew he had dated several girls he had practically never been in any serious relationship cause he usually seemed to be mostly indifferent towards the girls he dated.

He was probably the type who was hard to get to. The type who's heart is difficult to capture. Nevertheless, it always hurt Soojin when she saw him date another girl.

Soojin did not have the courage to ask him out. But what actually caused her to refrain from asking him out even more was the fact the he'd treat her like the other girls. Date her for a week or two and then fall apart.

"Someone seems to have finished her lunch faster today."

Soojin snapped out of her thoughts when she heard these words. She turned her head to find Yoongi.

"Umm... yeah..." she said with a flat tone.

Yoongi raised his brows.

"Okay... I see something seems to be bothering you." He said sitting beside Soojin. "Spill the beans. What's the matter?"

Soojin rested her head on Yoongi's shoulder. "Yoonie, have you ever fallen in love with someone so badly that it somehow becomes impossible for you to let go off them?"

"I can't say I have," he said looking at her, "But I think it's high time for you to go and confess your feelings for Taehyung."

"Is it even legal to confess to someone who has already been asked out by somebody else?" Soojin said slowly.

"What are you even- wait... are you talking about the girl who confessed to Taehyung today? How did you find out about it already?"

"Does it really matter? The fact is that he probably told her yes anyways." Soojin sighed.

"Well actually, about that... you see Taehyung-"
"What about me?"

Soojin almost jumped and sprang up to sit upright while Yoongi turned around sharply. Taehyung stood behind them with a confused expression.

Soojin felt her ears and cheeks growing hot as she feared he might have heard their conversation.

Taehyung's gaze lingered from Yoongi to Soojin and then back to Yoongi.

"Umm... it's just..." Soojin stuttered however Yoongi took control over the situation. "It's nothing much. We were just wondering if you and the others would be free this weekend for the group study session."

Soojin noticed Taehyung's eyebrow twitched slightly. "So far I'm free. I don't know about Jungkook. You can ask him when he comes." Taehyung's voice sounded devoid of all emotions.

Somehow it appeared to Soojin that Taehyung did not believe in what Yoongi told, but he did not question him further. He simply sat down in his place behind Soojin and put his head down on his desk.

"I'll be right back in a moment." Yoongi said and got up and walked up to the front of the class.

"Group study session huh?" Soojin heard an extremely muffled whisper. She realised it was Taehyung whispering to himself not aware of the fact that Soojin heard him. In fact Soojin would have probably missed it if her ears weren't sharp. She heard another muffled whisper. "Nice."

What's the matter with him? Soojin thought to herself.

The rest of the day passed by with the usual classes.

But the atmosphere of the back bench somehow turned out to be awkward. Soojin tried to avoid talking to Taehyung as much as she could while Taehyung was supposedly giving Yoongi a few cold glances from time to time. Minjee felt anxious about the tensed atmosphere whereas Jungkook was utterly confused so as to what was going on.

"Say," Jungkook spoke up to reduce the awkwardness of the atmosphere. "Are we really gonna form the study group we were talking about this morning?"

"Yes definitely." Taehyung said. "Yoongi and Jinnie-ya were talking about that during lunch." For some reason Soojin felt a tinge of bitterness in his tone. What's wrong with him? Is he bothered about something?

"Oh! Then when do we meet up for our first study session?" Jungkook asked innocently.

"We were deciding on this weekend." Soojin answered. "Everyone else is free this weekend. What about you Kookie?"

"I don't have any problem! I'm all good!" Jungkook gave his adorable bunny smile. "But Taehyung would have had a problem I guess if he would have accepted the proposal." He chuckled looking at Taehyung. Taehyung glared at him.

"What?" Soojin asked confused. "You see a girl from the other class came up to him at lunch today and asked him out on this weekend." Jungkook sniggered. "And Taehyung for the first time in his life refused the girl." Jungkook was trying hard not to laugh.

"You better not open your mouth any more than you have maknae because if you do you'll regret it." Taehyung said through gritted teeth, colour creeping up on his face.

Soojin blinked her eyes out of confusion. Wait what?

While Jungkook kept on sniggering and Taehyung kept glaring at him, Soojin turned to Yoongi and whispered to him. "You didn't tell me that he..." "I was going to tell you just that." Yoongi whispered cautiously. "But Taehyung dropped out of nowhere and I couldn't tell you."

Soojin looked at Minjee, who too had heard Jungkook.

"So when do we meet up? Saturday or Sunday?" Jungkook asked trying to control his snigger.

"Uhhh..." Soojin was kinda lost cause her mind was still unable to process what Jungkook just said.

"How about we decide that tomorrow... there's a lot more to think over than just the date." Taehyung said a little loud as if to brush off what Jungkook said a while ago.

"Yeah that sounds better." Soojin replied.

"Are you still talking to me?" Taehyung suddenly asked out of nowhere. "Huh?" Soojin was puzzled.

"You didn't talk to me since lunch was over, I thought I did something wrong that's why you stopped talking to me. I thought about asking that to you after school." Taehyung said blinking his pretty eyes with a slightly hurt expression.

Soojin could see that he felt genuinely hurt by her behaviour. Guilt washed over her. "Oh no." She said hurriedly. "No no! I didn't stop talking to you. I was just... bothered about something. I didn't ignore you. Sorry if I made you feel that way Tae."

"So you are not angry with me or anything?" Taehyung asked his face brightening up a little.

Soojin chuckled slightly. "No. Why would I be angry with you?"

Taehyung beamed at her.

Yoongi looked at an oblivious Soojin and smiled.
