3rd Person POV

Today was the day of the U.A. sports festival. And since they were third years now, it also is their last sports festival. Just like the last two years, 3-A was called first. The most popular class in all of U.A high. Just like in the past two years Bakugou was in the first place and Todoroki in second. In the their first year, Tokoyami was third, the next, Midoriya. This year Grand Tornio was the host and Present Mic and 3-B's homeroom teacher, Kan. This made some of the 3-A students feel uneasy as Kan might no be as neutral with the fights as Aizawa. Another thing that stood the same is the mystery of the events. It was always two games to start with to get it down to sixteen students, but nobody knew what the games would be, or even if they would play to their advantage. Even after, they still had 1v1 fights.

In front of the entire world, the third years stood, waiting for the first game to be announced. Some anxious, some nervous, they waited in anticipation as the wheel spun, introducing either luck or their defeat. When it finally stopped turning, Grand Tornio lifted his cane to point at it as he shouted for the whole world to hear,

"The Wall Climb"

Some students were confused, while others were siked. Grand Tornio continued to further explained how the first game worked.

"In this game, Cementoss will create a large mountain-like wall, that you must find a way up. The first forty that pass will move on to the second game. If you fall off, you will be disqualified."

"Bakugou's got this in the bag. He goes mountain climbing all the time," Kirishima said amongst their group.

"I'm good at everything loser, "Bakugou merely grumbled.

"Ready, Set, Go!"

It was almost too easy for Todoroki. All he had to do was use his ice to shoot his way up. Bakugou used his explosions without any problems, except for the screaming towards Todoroki.

"Wow! Todoroki 4.5 seconds, Bakugou 5 seconds! This class is incredible!" Present Mic shouted.

Yaoyorozu, on the other hand, was not doing so hot. This was defiantly not her game. She made it into the top forty though. 2oth place. Mineta did better than her.

Then, was revealed the top 10.

1. Todoroki

2.Bakugou

3.Tokoyami

4. Midoriya

5.Shiozaki

6. Uraraka

7. Tokage

8. Asui

9.Kirishima

10. Testsutestsu

Yaoyorozu could not help but to shake her head at her own disappointment. Unlike in the past years, her parents were watching. Her father stated before, that they would be a waste of time to see her fail. To her, they weren't wrong. She only made it into the top 16 places every time. To be fair, in her second year she was against Bakugou. Not exactly a good way to start. She could only imagine the look of disappointment in her parents while watching. Part of her hoped that they didn't keep their promise and watch. She was so excited when her mother first told her they would be watching. Only for her father to butt in saying that it was only to see if she has been wasting time and resources on a silly dream. Yaoyorozu knew better, but at this moment, she felt they were right.

She glanced over to Todoroki was the winner of the last challenge. Being the winner of the first challenge might have seemed like a good way to boost your confidence, but it always came with a downside in the second game. Yaoyorozu was worried about the boy who she admired deeply. The sports festival always brought out this side of her. The unconfident, worrisome, and nervous girl. Not a hero. In the past two years Todoroki was the one who got her out of that terrible feeling. This year she was hoping he wouldn't have to that again.
