At 9 am, all the Sides were awake and walking around the mind space. Everyone except Patton.

"Where's Pat?" Roman inquired Logan.

"In his room, which I must admit is unusual for him."

"Something must be wrong," Virgil knocked on Patton's door lightly.

All of the sides directed their gaze towards Morality's room in dead silence.

"Hey! Patton? Are you okay?" Virgil murmured.

"Maybe he doesn't want to talk to any imbeciles today," Deceit looked at the three sides huddled on the other side of the room.

"If Patton did wish to be left alone he would give us a warning at least. So we wouldn't suspect anything to be wrong with him."

"Maybe he hates you for leaving him with Remus." Deceit snickered.

"Hey!" Remus stared at Deceit with a furious look in his eye, but he was smiling. "That was a good one." He said grinning like the insult meant nothing to him. That's what Remus always did. As long as it wouldn't stop him from interacting with Thomas he didn't care.

"Come on Deceit, Patton could never hate anyone." Virgil said, still looking at the colourful door in front of him labelled 'Morality'.

The Sides got to decorate the doors to their rooms Patton made his door light blue with dad jokes written all over it in different colours. When Logan asked why he did that Patton said so it would bring a smile to the Sides faces. That didn't work right now.

"He might be sick," Roman guessed.

"That could be a possibility, but the question is why?" Logan pondered.

"Why?!?" Deceit said, astounded. "There is no 'why' to being sick, you're just sick and that's the end of it."

"Well, there is for us." Logan paused for a second looking at Roman. "Roman?"

"Yes, conversing calculator?"

"You remember when Thomas forgot the lyrics in an audition and you were sick because of it."

"Oh yeah!"

"You mean when we had that stupid debate." Virgil interrupted.

"You had a debate with the calculator?!?"

"Jealous Princey?" Virgil snickered, glancing at the blushing Roman for a second.

"Please can we keep on topic." Logan insisted. "If Patton is sick what could the cause be?"

"He's not sick!" Deceit yelled, slouching on the sofa.

"It could be something with Thomas' friends?" Roman guessed.

"Trust me it isn't, I'd be the first to know about that," Virgil said.

Patton's door slid open quietly.

"PATTON!!!" Virgil sprinted over to hug Patton. He jumped at the contact.

"Why's everyone crowded around my room with those mopey dopey faces?" Patton smiled nervously.

Virgil slowly detached his arms from around Patton. "Are you okay, popstar?"

"I'm fine kiddo, just woke up really late."

Remus stared at Patton with cold eyes. He's not okay he thought to himself we all know he's not okay but no one is going to say it.

"You guys worry too much," he smiled.

"Worrying is literally my entire job Patton," Virgil looked around to the other sides.

"Virgie we both know you're much more than anxiety." Patton places his hand beside Vigil's head and smiled at him like he was the only person in the entire world.

"Now that we all know Patton isn't dying can I go back to writing my script?" Roman asked in the most polite way he could think of.

"We didn't think Patton was dead," Logan said, actually confused by Roman's statement.

"It's a figure of speech dumba-"

"ROMAN!!" Patton screamed. "No swearing. It's bad."

"We should probably go check on Thomas." Logan intervened. "He's been trying to summon us for the last 5 minuets."

"Can I come?" Deceit said grinning suspiciously. "I promise I'll be good."

"I'd rather not have a slithering sinner near Thomas," Roman said, getting slightly confused when thinking of a good nickname.

"That was definitely one of your best Roman," Deceit mocked.

"Deceit I think you should stay here with Remus, and we'll go to see Thomas" Patton tried his best to be sincere but the pain in his stomach distracted him from the problem. He clenched his stomach trying to keep his balance, trying not to let the others see.

"Actually baby," Remus looked at Patton's hand gripping his blue shirt. "I think you should stay here."

Roman, Virgil, and Deceit all looked at him in confusion. They looked between each other for a second and then back at Remus.

"Why the hell did you call Patton "Baby"?" Roman questioned getting slightly aggressive.

"He isn't a baby!" Virgil was trying to defend Pattoneven though it really wasn't necessary.

"Virgil. Roman, it isn't important." Logan followed Remus' line of sight. The second Patton realised this he dropped his hand to his side. This made it a lot harder to stop himself from crashing to the floor.

"We should let Remus and Patton talk in peace. Thomas seems to be panicking about something so it wouldn't be wise to leave him alone for much longer." Logan tried his hardest to convince the sides to help Thomas with his problem that remained unaware to all of the sides.

"Oh my god! Fine, we'll let them talk," Roman said, finally giving in to Logic's lecture.

"Wait, we will?" Virgil looked at creativity with a look of pure terror in his eyes. "Roman remember this is Remus we're talking about. Why in Satan's satanic field would you let Remus near Patton?!?

"Cause I'd rather be writing my script then debating with the neurotic nerd we call Logic," Roman responded, tired of this stupid argument.

"You're forgetting, we still need to talk to Thomas," Virgil stared at the dark creativity. "Fine, you can talk to Patton," Virgil sunk out to speak to Thomas.

"Good luck Padre!" Roman said following Virgil.

"I'm gonna go to my room," Deceit turned to the darker side of the mind-space and left.

"Hurt him and I won't let you out of your room ever again," Logan threatened keeping a completely neutral face. The logical side turned to Morality, suddenly sincere. "You know I'm here if you ever need to talk." he smiled and then followed the others to see Thomas.

"Hey Remus," Patton said nervously.

"When are you gonna tell the others about your touch starvation?"
