Forged hearts: Dracula x reader

Chapter 7

this chapter is kinda just a filler chapter and more of just you and Dracula being together. I've been slammed with work and school and so many of you are enjoying the story so I want you guys to have something to read until the next chapter.

You opened your eyes slowly, feeling an arm tighten its grip around your waist. You looked down to see Vlad sleeping with his head buried between your breast, his favorite way to sleep. You could only smile and gently cup his cheek. 

You continued to run your nails up and down his back as he snored softly, the war taking its toll on his health. You hummed and kisses the top of his head, lingering a bit longer before gently shaking the count awake. "My love, wake up" You spoke softly, shaking him again only to receive and groan and Dracula's grip tightening on your waist causing you to giggle.

"we have to get up my love, the sun is already above us" you said, cupping his face as he opened his eyes. "but darling, you are so very warm and your bosoms are like pillows for me" he said, smiling as your cheeks flushed red. 

Dracula smiled and gently kissed your cheek before sitting up, standing up and taking your hand gently into his own. He dressed you in your normal attire before dressing himself. This was a sort of habit for you both, you would wake up to Dracula in your bed or in your chair, asleep most of the time. You never complained, you enjoyed the love and attention from the vampire. 

You let the count brush your hair as you sat between his legs, relaxed. When he finished, you let him put it up into your bun. Vegthis moved from his spot in the chair and ran to the door, gently scratching it. You opened the door and let Dracula guide you to your study opening the door for you like the gentleman he is. 

"I have been trying to organize the books by category" you spoke, moving some books onto the shelf before adjusting them again. Dracula chuckled softly "your mind worse in mysterious yet marvelous ways" he said and placed some books above your head. You only smiled and continued organizing. 

"is this what you do all day?" He asked. You nodded and grabbed more books. "when I'm not building your army I'm her with Vegthis. The noise of the war room doesn't help at all" You said rubbing you temple then blushed when you felt Dracula kiss your head. " Soon the silence will be upon us" He said and helped you place your books down.

You watched him as he moved around the room, Your heart beating in your chest. You wondered how someone like him loved a human like you. You could only smile at him when you notice that he would mumble small think like "what is this" "I can't read this". It was cute.

After you fixed your study for a bit, Dracula decided to take you for a night walk. You happily went along and wrapped your arm around his own while you walked next to the river and let the moon reflect back to you. 

Dracula stared down at you and smiled, you were so full of wonder and mystery that he wanted to know more about you and more about where your from. He knew he would never find someone like you again. You may not be Lisa but your were so much more than that to him, you were his new world, his reason for their to be silence in his court, a reason to be with you every waking moment. 

You caught the count staring and blushed, giving him a closed eye smile. You slipped your hand into his own and continued to venture down to the river, looking up at the sky and the stars. "do you ever wonder how many stars there are?" you asked. Dracula moved his gaze to look. "There would be to many to count but you my dear, you are my one true star" He said, cupping your face. You smiled and looking up at him.

Dracula gently picked you up, causing you to gasp and wrap your legs around him. He smiled and gently kissed you. You kissed him back and ran your hands through his hair, smiling when he made a purring sound. You pulled away and rested your head against his own. You both didn't need to say those three words. You both knew deep in your hearts, whether beating or not, that you loved each other and would be there until you died.

Dracula took you back to the castle and tucked you into your bed and laid ontop of the sheets, rubbing circles on your back until it soothed you into sleep. Dracula smiled and kissed your head, removing himself from your bed and heading into his war room, already dreading the ruckus to come but at least he got to spend the day with you, his dearest one.
