The Princess and Her Deer (A Charlie X Alastor Story)

Alastor's Gift

The next morning Charlie had woken up to find that Alastor wasn't where he was when he sleeps with her every night. When she got up and went to look for her husband, she found a note on her nightstand that read, "Dear Charlie, in case you're wondering where I am, I've left to go get a gift for the babies and don't worry, I'll find the perfect one that you and the babies will like when they come out. I'll be back by later today, honey. ~Alastor" A smile ran across Charlie's face as she read the note out loud to herself.

When she got dressed and headed to the kitchen, she saw Vaggie making breakfast in the kitchen. Vaggie, noticing her enter the kitchen had asked her what she wanted for breakfast. Charlie taking a minute to think had finally decided on having Eggs, Toast, and Coffee, Vaggie then said "Okay." and made her breakfast. Charlie not noticing that she was making it obvious that she was thinking about something had jumped when Vaggie had asked her what she was thinking about so she said "Oh nothing, Just couldn't thinking about what happened last night."

Then, Razzle tugged by the leg and pointed at the TV, "What Razzle, you and Dazzle want to show me something?" He smiled and nodded as he carried Charlie to TV where Dazzle turned it on, 666 News was on and Tom Trench began talking:

"Hello citizens of Hell! Welcome back to 666 News, hope you're all having an awful day because we have breaking news. We will back after these commercials." Tom said before it changes into commercials. Charlie continued to eat her breakfast while Razzle and Dazzle sat by her before the news came back on.

"Breaking news. Vox, the TV Demon, has been arrested for trying to kill the Princess of Hell and the wife of the Radio Demon, Charlotte Magne." Katie Killjoy said before Charlie's mouth dropped and her fork fell. They flashed a picture of Vox in a prison outfit behind bars.

Charlie looked at Razzle and Dazzle with a surprised face. She gave them a smile and grabbed their hands, caressing them. She gulped her food in her mouth and smiled shaky.

"Further news will be told after these commercials." Katie Killjoy said before the commercials shot. Charlie got up and started pacing around the room while Razzle turned off the TV. He and Dazzle walked up to her but she ignored them as her thoughts about Alastor went through her head.

'I wonder if that bite wound has healed up yet?' Charlie asked herself in her head as she looked under her bandage and by the look of it, the bite wound was finally gone. Charlie smiled and unwrapped the bandage around her neck, "Dazzle, can you throw this in the trash?" Dazzle nodded as he and Razzle went to go throw the bandage in trash, Charlie smiled at her butlers until she heard a knock at the door.

"I'll get it..." Charlie said, sighing and running down the stairs to the door. She opened the door just to see Alastor holding two plush dragons that look identical but with two differences, one was red with blue eyes while the other was blue with red eyes.

Happy to see her husband, Charlie immediately ran into Alastor's arms, "I missed you so much today!~"

"I know darling but I got these for our babies!" Alastor handed Charlie the gifts for the babies causing Charlie to smile happily.

"Oh my goodness you're such a gentleman Alastor!" She giggled pecking his lips gently.

"Hey, what are those, Charlie?" Vaggie asked when she saw the plush dragons in Charlie's hands.

"These will be my kids' plush dragons for when they will be granted their life, Vaggie." Charlie answered as she showed the plush dragons to Vaggie so she could see them better.

"But these aren't just like any other plush." Alastor said as he set the plushies on the ground, suddenly the plush dragons started to grow and come to life as real dragons, "They can also grow into big real dragons when you set them on the ground."

The dragons looked around their surroundings and at each other and smiled, then they both saw Razzle and Dazzle and started playing with them.

"Aw, so cute." Vaggie said as they continued to play with Razzle and Dazzle, "I think they'll make great night watchers for the kids."

"And great playmates for Razzle and Dazzle too." Charlie commented.

"Have you by any chance decided to give them names?" Vaggie asked the couple causing Alastor to look up at her and smile at her.

"I was thinking I could name the red one Ruby and the blue one Rosie?" Charlie said, looking into Alastor's eyes as he smiled and agree with her.

"Okay, Ruby and Rosie is it." Vaggie said as she smiled at the two dragons playing with Razzle and Dazzle.
