a few gasps of shock echoed throughout the classroom. even minho's eyes widened as he looked over at the boy to his left.
silence settled over the room for an uncomfortable amount of time before jisung decided he needed to make his move. he stood up and pushed his single desk to rest against his new partner's own, taking a seat next to him.
"how about we s— start working?" the blonde said in hopes the rest of the class would go back to what they were doing. thankfully, the majority of the other students began speaking to each other again and left them to themselves.
the ravenette beside him looked up with confusion written all over his face. "okay..." he replied, "well, what do you want to do? it's supposed to be based on something you personally relate to, so..."
jisung let out a sigh. "something we both personally relate to. it's not just about one of us," he answered, running his fingers through his blonde locks, "name three things you really connect to, and so will i. how does that sound?"
minho looked surprised. "alright... anything music-related is something i can connect to. i guess you could say i connect to those struggling with identity..." the younger's eyes lit up at the second part.
"identity?" he mused, "you too? man, i thought i was the only one questioning myself."
his lips fighting to curve up into a smile, minho nodded. "then... why don't we make the piece about struggling with identity?" jisung couldn't help but grin at the suggestion.
