I hate school... Stupid school... School is annoying and pointless and so dumb. Did I mention I don't like school? No, no, I'm not a bad student. I get good grades. I usually don't get in trouble. The only relatively good part is... boys!
When I got my schedule I looked at it; Monsterology, battlematics, and spellysics? What happened to good old math, reading and science?
Well, whatever, at least school doesn't start until...7:30! What? That's not happening!
On the way to school my dad took two wrong turns. I ended up late. Hopefully they will cut me some slack. It is my first day, after all.
Being the new girl isn't so bad. Seven people, or should I say seven "creatures" already asked to sit with me at lunch. I told them I didn't sit with "things" I didn't know. That didn't go well. Let's just say I think I ruined my only chance I had of making any friends.
Monsterology wasn't too bad. Battlematics was terrible. Spell guard was okay. Transfiguration was awesome! Spell guard was good. Flyingology was AWESOME! Why's battlematics so bad you ask? Well, teacher is annoying, classroom is dull, and classmates are oblivious.
Well earlier when I said boys were the only relatively good parts I was completely and totally wrong. They're actually the WORST part! I can't believe I even thought about considering them the only good part!! I mean seriously, this thing (I couldn't tell what he was) threw up on me!! Ewww!
Mom asked how my day went. This is exactly what I said: "I got lost three times, most teachers are annoying, classes are dull...and I think that's it."
This is the response I got: "All you ever do is complaining. I don't want to hear it and no one else does either. Why can't you be more like your brother? He comes home with a smile and at least one of his friends... every day!"
"Yeah, well, he also never does his homework, which gives him a "C" average." I said, sort of mumbling. If you can't tell my mom HATES complaining. This in my world means she hates the truth.
I decided to take Spaja, my pet spider bat ninja, on a walk. On the way I saw a girl. She started getting closer. I thought that she looked pretty nice, though a little shy. "Hi, my name's Koso, I'm an alien cowgirl," she said, sounding quite embarrassed. Personally, I thought it was cool but I don't think she did. "Ari short for Arianna, but please don't call me that. I'll have to bite you then. I'm a fairy vampire." I said.
"You look strangely familiar," she said. The truth was, to me she just looked plain strange, but I didn't tell her that of course.
I realized now that she went to my school. I didn't think she was in any of my classes, though.
The next day during second period I got called up to the office. I have to admit I was a little scared. I finally reached the office. I let out a sigh of relief it was only a schedule change. I was going to be in 3rd period spellysics instead of 5th.
As I walked into the room I saw her, there she was, right there. It was Koso. She sat with me at lunch that day. She even walked me home.
I was surprised to see Kokai already home. He had after school brainball practice. Apparently he was sick. Great, now I would get sick. Everyone knows illness spreads through the family quickly.
I was right; as soon as Kokai got over being I was sick. I guarantee you that I was ten times worse. I was totally not going to school tomorrow.
Koso came over after school the next day to see what was wrong. I told her that it was nothing big and that she didn't have to worry about it.
As a matter of fact, I didn't go to school for the next three days. Finally I went to the doctor. They said I was ready to go to school the next day.
I didn't even have to guess. I had a TON of make-up work. Battlematics was the worst. I mean seriously 875 battle techniques in a week is that necessary?
It was Friday. Not Monday. That meant Kokai had a brainball game. I usually have to go to those to "show my spirit" but, you can't show spirit if you don't have any! I got to stay home with Koso! It was the best part of living here by far!!
Koso and I don't have the typical sleepover... you know the kind where the girls paint their nails, brush their hair and talk about guys? Yeah, no! Anyway, since you probably don't care about our sleepovers I won't tell you about them but I will tell you this: Saturday, Sunday...Gone. They were boring... I hate to admit but I actually wish Kokai would have started something... but he didn't, and that's that.
