(I made a whole plan for Chapter 2. I had 3 or 4 small paragraphs worth of stuff for this chapter. This whole chapter is one of those paragraphs. It might be dragged out or uninteresting, I'm so sorry! The next Chapter will be better! Hopefully. I'm not sure if I can write action well...)

A knock on the door snapped Elise out of her thoughts. "It's been 20 minutes already?" She said out loud, getting up to answer the door. As expected, it was just Lillian.
The white-haired girl smiled and gestured for Elise to come out. "It's time to get fitted for your uniform!" Elise nodded and stepped out of her room, closing the door and following the girl.
"It'll probably take a while to get there since the room is on the other side of the castle," Lillian said, glancing at Elise to see if she was doing okay. "So, I'll just tell you about your schedule for the rest of the day."
She then listed off everything they had to do that day. First, they had to measure her physical abilities. Next, they had to measure her magic abilities, starting with how to control it. Then, they were going to battle for a bit.
Elise nodded, taking in all the information. "It doesn't seem like we have that much to do." Lillian nodded.
"Technically, it all depends on how long you take to get used to everything. I assume that you're a beginner, so it might take a while." The girls walked for another minute or two before arriving at a big door.
"Well, we're here." Lillian opened the door, revealing a pretty messy room and a woman who was messing around with a few tape measures. She had what looked to be dyed, bright green hair and blue eyes.
The woman looked up and smiled at the two. "Ah, Lillian! Is this the young lady who was supposed to get fitted for her uniforms?" Lillian gently pushed Elise forward. "Yes, Ms. Alexandra. This is Elise!" Elise waved.
"Hello, Ms. Alexandra!" She said, trying not to seem rude. Alexandra waved her hand as if she were dismissing something.
"Please, Ms. Alex is fine. I keep telling Lillian that, but she can't seem to get it through her head! In one ear and out the other, I tell you..." Lillian sighed softly before smiling at the woman.
"Anyways, Elise, stand right here and hold your arms out." Alexandra said, pointing to a sturdy looking stool. Elise walked over and stood on it, doing what she was told. A few minutes passed, and Elise was getting measured everywhere.
Luckily, it was with someone who she was slightly comfortable with. The measuring really didn't take that long, which was, according to Lillian, great because now they had more time to train.
"And... Done!" Alexandra wrote down the last measurement, officially ending the measurement process of the day.
"This will be done in about a week!" Elise thanked her and left with Lillian. "Aright, now we just have to go next door."
Elise didn't have enough time to ask any questions since Lillian opened the door next to Alexandra's room. "Alexandra, I thought I told you- Oh, it's just you."
The voice came from a man who was reading in the corner of the room. He had messy white hair and red eyes, and he wore a pair of glasses. He and Lillian looked kind of similar.
"Who's that with you?" The man asked, putting down his book and walking over to the two. "Um, I'm Elise!" She said, shuffling her feet.
He nodded and held his hand out, letting Elise shake it. "I'm Cam. Since I've never seen you before, I'm going to assume that you're here for your gem."
Lillian nodded. "Yep, she somehow used her magic by accident earlier today, and we just want to know what type she has." Cam gestured towards the wall, which was filled with various jewelry.
There were hairpieces, hair clips, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and what looked to be anklets.
"The jewelry part is only there to look nice, but the gems are important." Cam said, taking a clear gem out of a box.
"The gems are technically mini shields that will protect you from minor attacks. It also changes colors to show what type of magic you have. Keep this on you at all times." Elise nodded. "Great. Now pick out a piece of jewelry."
Elise looked at the wall, immediately noticing a golden chained necklace. "That one, please!" Cam walked over to it and took it off the hook, placing the clear gem in the middle.
He then handed it to Lillian, who put it on Elise. Lillian then turned Elise around, glancing at the necklace. "Woah, it looks great on you!" Elise smiled, rubbing her arm.
"Really? At least it suits me well!" She looked in a mirror nearby, noticing that it really did look good on her. At least Lillian wasn't lying. "Alright, Elise. Step in the middle of the circle."
'What circle?' Elise thought, looking down. Turns out, there was a simple and plain circle carved in the middle of the floor. "Oh, clearly I'm blind..." She said to herself, stepping in the circle.
Suddenly, a loud scream came from next door, causing Cam to groan. "Ugh, stupid Alexandra. What did she do this time?" Lillian laughed and spoke up.
"Oh please, big brother, don't act like you didn't come to me a few weeks ago to talk about 'how pretty she was.'" Cam's face turned bright red, and he tried to say something back, but ultimately couldn't.
Elise stayed silent for a bit before finally registering what Lillian said. "Wait, 'Big Brother?' You guys are siblings?!" She said, glancing at the two of them.
Cam stayed silent, allowing Lillian to speak. "Yep! I mean, I thought that it was pretty obvious!" She giggled and clasped her hands together.
Cam cleared his throat, cutting off his sister. "W-We need to get this over with." Lillian shook her head and whispered something to Cam, causing him to argue with her for a few seconds.
Cam then gently pushed Lillian before closing his eyes and muttering a few words under his breath, causing the circle and Elise's gem to light up in a grey light. Her necklace also started to float a bit.
Suddenly, a bright yellow light enveloped the room, which made Elise close her eyes. A few seconds later, the light disappeared, and Elise looked down to see a pretty yellow circle under her feet. Her gem was also glowing a bright yellow.
"Hmm, lightning magic." Cam said with a hint of surprise in his voice. "One of the rarer magic types. Congratulations!" He said, clapping. Lillian started to clap as well.
Elise smiled at the two as the light from the circle under her started to fade. "How rare is lightning magic?" She asked, looking at the siblings.
"You don't know? Only nobles and royalty can be born with lightning magic. Even then, it's super rare!" Lillian said, raising her eyebrows. "I'll tell you more after our training, okay?"
The two chatted with Cam for a while before leaving and heading to the field for training. To be honest, Elise wasn't really excited. What if she wasn't good enough? What if she got hurt? What if she hurt someone?
These questions were running through her mind the closer they got to the field.
