SUNDAY - 7:00 AM

It was just a normal day, like any other day and everybody enjoys the morning to themselves with their early routine. Kang Hana, a girl who was about to turn eighteen within a few weeks, is sleeping peacefully in her dim-lit bedroom. She slowly woke up, adjusting her view as it was a little blurry, and as she opened her eyes to see her surroundings before stretching herself while yawning and sat up. She looked at her clock-stand that was on her side desk as it illuminates the time, 7:02 AM. She took off the blanket that was wrapped around her while she was asleep and got off the bed as she went to her dresser and took her hairbrush, brushing it on her wavy dark brown hair. Hana then heads for the doorknob and twisted it, leading her out of her room to the living room.

As she enters, she saw her father putting on his wristwatch and fixed his sleeves,

Hana's father, Kang Jongsuk, is the personal nutritionist of Samsung Electronics, the number one famous company in Korea and worldwide known for its use of technology. He worked for the company ever since his first-born came to his life. To support his small family, he went job hunting to earn money and was offered by one of the famous companies then here he is, a nutritionist for the three directors of the company. That is why, fathers are called 'the breadwinner of the family'.

"Morning, Dad. Where are you going? Isn't it Sunday today?" Hana asked and her father turned to see her daughter standing.

"Good morning, Hana. We have visitors from China and the Philippines by ten o'clock today to see our company's newest gadget. Don't worry, I'll be back by afternoon." Mr. Kang said as he received a phone call from his boss, the director of the company.

"Director Kim? Yes, I'm on my way." He ended the phone call before turning to Hana.

"Gotta' go sweet velvet. See you later! Tell your mother I already took breakfast and coffee." He said, kissing the temple of his daughter before taking his briefcase and head out.

"Alright, bye Dad!" Hana waved at her hardworking father and he waved back as well before closing the door.

Hana went to the kitchen as she smelled her mother's cooking and saw her young siblings chasing each other around the counter while her mother is stirring around the pot pan.

Hana's mother, Kang Jieun, is like any normal housewife in the house. She was once an assistant chef but retired as she is going through motherhood. It must be hard for her to raise four children but this woman just raised them as if four children is one, with of course the little help of her oldest daughter and son. As the two grew, the mother trained the oldest siblings to take care of their younger siblings and themselves. Mrs. Kang is an amazing role model for her children, of course as well as Mr. Kang, the husband. She never disappoints them.

"Hey, Mom. Good morning." Hana greeted, wrapping around her mother's body as she stirs.

"Morning, dear. Did your father left already?" Mrs. Kang asked her oldest daughter who was still wrapping her, hugging from behind.

"Yeah, he did. He told me he ate breakfast and took coffee before he went off." Hana notified, receiving a hum from her mother as a response.

"Hey, sweet velvet? Can you settle your siblings down and prepare the table? The food is almost ready." Hana nodded before letting go of her hug and went.

"Ah, when you're done setting the table, can you wake up your brother? I thought he would be awake by now." Mrs. Kang asked as she applied some seasoning into the pot pan.

"Oh okay, I will."

As Hana settled her younger siblings and set the table, she went to her other young sibling who was still cooped up in his room. She knocked on the door before entering and saw that her brother is awake, sitting in front of his study desk while typing whatever on his laptop.
