SUNDAY - 9:39 AM

It was just a normal day, but a busy day, to be precise. Choi Chanhee, better known as New by his close friends, a guy who will turn twenty in the next few months and visions the color of red as his conception, is sleeping peacefully in his lit bedroom. He slowly woke up, adjusting his view from the light that was shown by the window, and as he opened his eyes to see his surroundings before stretching himself while yawning and sat up. He looked at his clock-stand that was on his side desk as it illuminates the time, 9:41 AM. He was supposed to be at work before 10:00 AM but it seemed his alarm clock hasn't woke him up. His eyes went nearly bulked like Thomas the Train as he views the time.

"Ah, shoot!" He mentally cursed for being late, boosting himself off from his bed to prepare himself like a lightning bolt for his shift.

As Chanhee was finished preparing twelve minutes straight for his shift and grabbed his keys for his departure. He exited out of his bedroom, heading to the main door while ignoring his roommate's tease as he walked out of the flat.

"Looks like 'New' is too 'old' to remember about his shift, huh?" Eric chuckled at his joke but received an eye roll from the older.

Chanhee's roommate, Eric Sohn, is his annoying but kind-hearted sophomore friend. Eric may provoke his friends but he knows when to be susceptible or not. He works as a singer for a local bar nearby and a few friends would sometimes visit on weekends. He wants to earn money on his own and live by himself but since his parents are in Los Angeles and they don't trust their son living alone, Eric asked his senior tutor, who is now a junior in college, to live with him and have a stable life and Chanhee being the kind guy he is, he accepted it but endures the loudness from the younger.

Chanhee got down on the ground floor of the building and went to where his motorcycle was while dashing like Sonic the Hedgehog. He hopped on the electrical figure, forgetting to put on the helmet and turned on the engines and left as fast as he could he do it possible.

Unfortunately, when he arrived at the end of the highway, he met an old nemesis back in high school; red lights, cars stopped, mad drivers, accidents. He hated this kind of situation, even when he is running late for his shift.

"Manager Yook would rip my poor legs off this time." Chanhee thought, cringing as he imagined his manager shrieking the top of his lungs when he arrives.

It was already passed 10:00 AM and Chanhee has to withstand under the heat of the sun as beads of sweat rolls down on his forehead, getting apprehensive when the cars haven't moved an inch. Fate decided to be on his side this time as he spotted a path between the cars, his motor could fit perfectly, he had a small festivity in his mind and inserted himself in the gap between the two vehicles while dashing in a moderate pace, being careful of himself to avoid creating scratches on the other vehicles surface.

To his dismay when he arrived at his workplace, the parking lot is full including for cycle vehicles, not because the customers are here for a drink but the parking lot in the mall from across the street is full and so as the nearby parking places.

"Can this day get any better?" Chanhee groaned in frustration as mockery crossed his mind.

An idea popped in his sense, Chanhee drove his motor to the back of the café. He saw his co-worker's bicycle parked beside the group consisting of junk sacks and parked his motor beside it. As he made sure his motor was parked properly and he didn't miss anything in his backpack, he scampered himself to the entrance of the café. He opened the glass door, gaining attention from the customers who were minding their business and continued.

"Jinri?" He heard his co-worker, Kevin, called out and a lady came and took her drink, smiling as a sign of appreciation while bowing and turned back to her seat.
