Chapter 5

A huge glass building is shown, with the daily hustle and bustle of people. Some of them are wearing white coats with stethoscope around their neck. Yes it is a hospital with hard working and dedicated doctors. It is the most well known hospital around the world. The Lifeline hospital.

Through the entrance we can see a young girl entering the building with her head held high and a coat in her hand. As she enters the staff members around her stand up to greet her with a genuine smile on their faces. In return she also greets them with a beautiful angelic smile.

She stands in front of her cabin door and with a proud smile read her name on it. Ms. Nandini Murthy. Cardiologist.

As she enters the room three people come and hug her tightly and shouts
We missed you Nanz.

Taken aback by the sudden hug she stumbles a bit and then smiles and hug them back.

Nandini - I missed you too guys. Though we just met yesterday. You all toh behave as if you haven't seen me all this years.

Aryaman - we are hurt Nanz. You don't love us anymore. (Making a sad pout)

Nandini - chal haat dramebaaz. Come ajj mere taraf se canteen mei tum sab ko lunch. Now happy Mr. Khurana?

Navya - yehhh. Ajj toh majah ayega.

Kushi - Nanz dekhna Varna yeh rakshas pura canteen toh karega hi karega par sath sath Tere sare paise bhi khatam kar dega.

Listening this Navya, Nandu and Khushi start laughing while Arya make a grumpy face.

Arya - you shut up Chudail. Muhjse toh tu moti hai.

Listening this Khushi runs behind Arya to beat him.

Nandini - ok ok guys, jisko jitna khana hai utna kha lena but abhi mujhe thoda kaam hai, and again I have to go to the college for the seminar. I also have to check the file regarding the companies for new medicine.

Arya - we also have work. We will come later. Take care.

Navya - and don't take tension. Everything will be alright.

Khushi - and don't you dare to forget lunch.

Saying this all leave her cabin and go to their work. Nandini also start reading the file. She was so engrossed in work that she didn't check the time. After some time there was a knock on the door.

Nurse - ma'am there is an emergency case. They need you at the operation theater.

Nandini - you make the ot ready, I'll be there in few minutes.

The nurse goes and after some time Nandu also goes to the ot. After four hours of operation, Nandini comes out and informs the patient's family that now he is out of danger and no need to worry. Soon the shift the man to common ward.

Nandu after Operation goes back to her cabin and sits on her chair. She hears her door being open and looks up only to see an angry Navya.

Navya - Ms. Nandini Murthy, when was the last time you had something to eat.

Now that Navya said this Nandu looked towards the clock only to see it was already 5 in the evening. And she didn't had her lunch. She gives a sheepish smile to her and says

Nandini - sorry na navu. Pls see I was a bit busy with the meds file and then the operation. Pls sorry. I am very hungry come let's go to canteen.

Navya - when will you learn to take care of yourself. You are not a child. Now come.

Nandu - you are there na to take my care, then why you worry.

They both move to canteen and navya makes sure that Nandu have her food properly and then both return to work.

At 8 all complete their work and Arya decides to drop Khushi and Nandini at home. As Abhimanyu comes to pick Navya up.

As Nandu reaches home, she sees all her family together in the hall. Nandu goes and sit down on the sofa between her Chachi maa and her Amma. She keeps her head on Shilpa's shoulder and holds Ishita's hand.

Akash - is my princess tired?

Nandu - very much chachu.

Anish - come let's eat. My princess is hungry.

They all went for dinner. After having dinner all retired to their rooms. As soon as Nandu's head hits the bed she goes into a deep slumber.
