Chapter 32

~KEVIN/KRIUS~

Her eyes changed suddenly. She said she doesn't know how this happened but that's never happened before. I can see her aura trying to break free, it's not difficult to conceal one's aura but hers is leaking out. Is she weakening? What's going on?
One side this and the other I finally know why I don't remember any of this. The Court was once very smart.

"Sera? Can we go further in time? When you and I have grown up?" I ask her, honestly, I was discreetly proposing we go to the future of this past. The real mystery of our curse will be solved only when we see what happened behind our backs on the day I proposed her.

She nods and we close our eyes. I feel the air of time travel and realize once it has stopped that we have reached our destination.

I open my eyes and the first thing that comes into sight is The Olden Tree.

We are in the Library of Void.

"Krius." I hear her whisper, her voice thick with memories choking her throat. I have wanted to hear her say my name for so long now! Finally! She was never the expressing type, always guarded. "Yes dear Sera, that's me." I say to cheer her up.

She smiles, as aimed, mission successful Mr. Damon.

"Let's go solve the mystery." I say. We head towards the main hall where my idiot past self is telling Rose how I would never like a girl like Sera let alone loving her.

"what you thinking, Krius?" she asks me- wait did she just call me Krius? D..Does she know? Was I an idiot to think she won't catch me? She might have read the panic on my face and hence is now laughing hard at me... at least she's laughing even if it is at my expense.

"Nothing, just wondering what that idiot might have thought when he proposed a trouble!" now its me laughing and she, well as expected making a face at me.

"enough now let's go see the others." she says.

"nope I want to hear this conversation, that's Rose right?"

"Yep, and fine we can wait and see you conversing with her. Will be fun." she winks at me. Okay. She's in a good mood now. I think she's just letting it go instead of dwelling on it. Good for me, I get my favourite Sera back.

"Krius, do you think she can be our friend?" Rose asks me.

"No way in black hole! I can't bear the sight of her!" My stupid past person tells her. Black hole was my coined word, I didn't like the idea of talking about hell just for the sake of it so I chose the hell of stars- black hole. I had felt so proud back then, now I am embarrassed.

"Hey! She's too nice. No one has heard her quarreling with anyone let alone being angry, moreover she's the heiress. Not that it matter that she is the heiress but still she has the aura of grace-" "but she doesn't have a single friend so that is our que to cut this conversation down here." Mr. Idiotass tells her.

Just then Sera walks past the bookshelves, smiles at us and walks past us towards Mr. Rector's room. And here I am sitting staring in the direction she just disappeared.

I still remember how I had felt her smiling at me a bit confusing and how I had wasted away 2 days thinking about that smile. She had always made me feel, well, unsettled.

"Krius?" Rose nudges past-me hard and I break out of the trance she had led me to.

"well just a few mins ago someone said 'No way in black hole!' to the proposal of being friends with her. And after those respective few mins that respective someone is in a trance by her smile!" She smiles at past-me devilishly and past-me takes leave- one name Mr. idiot Coward me.

She had laughed at me every time she saw me after that until the day of realization.

"I bet you will fall in love with this 'no way in black hole!' girl of yours!" she said in between her laughs as I left the library.

I hear a laugh next to me. I turn in Sera's direction and she is holding her stomach laughing hard- at me.

"What's so funny?"I squint at her, she laughs even harder and I join her I lost.

"literally Kevin? You bet on this?" She asks between her giggles. ""Yeah kind off. I always used to think you were one of those big show offs-"

"How do you know that? Kevin did you just remember something?" She instantly got serious and looked at me in concern. Merlitaaa Save me!! why is the earth swallowing me? Why isn't the sky eating me?

I fucked up, shit, crap, ughhhhh why Krius why did you open your damned mouth?

"Scarlett, actually, I.. umm, well..-" Suck it up Krius, she's Sera, she'll understand. Just tell her.

"Sera, the thing is the point isn't about remembering, it doesn't even come up whether I remember anything or not the point is-" You've got to be kidding me. Everyone's here, Rose, Mr. Rector, Shabin, Karen, Lilith, Kenn and everyone else.

"Guys! Oh my God! What in Merlita's name you are doing here?" She confronts them.

"Daughter, we had to do this, after you had left, and Kevin followed lead, Shabin was caught trying it himself. He told me how he felt we all should be here because it's not just your fault we all are tainted. We are here because whether accepted or not we all believed what happened was wrong." Mr. Rector says.
