The next morning, all of us girls woke up to the smell of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. We all got dressed and followed the smell to the dining room then sat down.

"This has to be a trick. Ms. Hanson wouldn't never treat us so nicely like this." Britney said.

"Unless that Hanson is me!" Polly said as she entered the room.

"Polly!" all us girls exclaimed.

"Good morning girls! Go ahead and eat up. You need your strength. My mother told me that someone very important is coming to choose one of you today." Polly smiled as she sat down with us.

"Who is it?" Ally perked up.

"She didn't say. Eat up now." Polly responded. All the older girls were talking among each other about who the important person could be. A celebrity probably. They kept throwing in their guesses as to which celebrity it could be. Polly helped me cut up my syrup covered pancakes and bacon then I dug into the delicious meal.

After breakfast, Polly went to the bedroom with us all and gave all the girls, except for me, nice looking outfits to wear.

"You can wear these whenever someone comes to choose one of you. You do want to look nice after all." Polly smiled.

"What about me?" I asked, looking up at Polly as I held my teddy bear.

"Come with me, sweetie." Polly said, holding out her hand. I took it then she led me out to her car. She opened the trunk and pulled out the most beautiful pink dress that my little eyes had ever seen.

My eyes widened, "wow! Dats mine?" I asked.

Polly giggled, "of course sweetie. Now let's go get you changed." I took her hand again and we went back inside and to the bathroom. All of us girls were now in the bedroom while Polly was in Ms. Hanson's office with her and the client. I sat quietly on my bed and played with my bear.

"How long are we supposed to wait here?" Carly asked.

"Until Polly comes and gets us." Ally reminded. The other girls were all still talking about who the client could be. Britney came over to me and scoffed.

"Why did you get such a fancy dress and the rest of us look like garbage?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"It not my fault." I whimpered. Then Agatha and Tanya came over as well and the three of them started picking on me an tried ripping my dress. I broke out crying and managed to run out of the room.

"You brats. Don't you remember anything Polly has taught you?" Ally said firmly to the three trouble makers.

As I was running away, I ran past the office. Ms. Hanson, Polly, and the client heard.

"Polly would you keep our guest company while I see what's going on? Thank you." Ms. Hanson said then stormed out of the room. She went to the bedroom and slammed the door open.

"What the hell is going on in here?" she snapped at the girls.

"Agatha, Britney, and Tanya tried to rip Lela's outfit apart and she ran out crying." Carly said.

"We don't know where she ran to, but we know she's still in the house." Ally said. Ms. Hanson looked at the trouble makers and began scolding them.

"You three have caused nothing but a bucket full of trouble ever since you got here. You three are going to spend the night in the basement with no dinner." Ms. Hanson snapped.

"But we-" Britney started.

"Don't talk back to me, young lady. I am the boss and you do as I say." Ms. Hanson yelled as she pulled on Britney's hair.

"I think I've seen enough." the client spoke up from behind. He and Polly were standing in the doorway. Polly was horrified.

"Mother! That isn't how you treat kids no matter how bad they are. I've seen enough as well and on behalf of the bureau of child safety, I shall be taking over this home as of today." Polly exclaimed. Her fiance is the owner of the city's bureau of child safety and Polly has a part time job there so she was allowed to say whether someone or somewhere was not fit for children and do something about it.

After Ms. Hanson had packed everything up and left to move back in with her lazy brother, Polly turned to the client.

"I'm so sorry you had to see that. As long as I'm here, no harm will come to this building or these girls." she said.

"That's wonderful to hear." the client smiled. Polly turned back to the girls.

"I'll deal with your punishment later," she said as she looked at the trouble makers, "for now, we must find Lela and then Mr. Wiggle here will choose one of you to take home with him."
