The first chapter

In Paris, France. Lived a girl in a wealthy family with horror and pride. Her family's business is fashion. The biggest fashion company in Europe. So obviously her parents were always busy.

Always.

The girl was raised by their family Loyal butler and maids

The girl was the second child.

The least favorite one.

The trouble child.

The bad child.

That girls name is:

Ruby Calista.

A 14 year old girl, who's parents favor her older sister.

Serenity Calista. Her 19 year old sister who gets all the attention.

Because she was a White Mage; practice the healing arts and nothing evil or bad.

Her parents were PROUD. Since their ancestors were powerful wizards, watches, warlocks and Sorcerers. Their parents are also White Mage's.

The reason why Ruby was the least favorite was because she didn't have any spirit power. She was an ordinary human. A muggle.

She was basically cast out of the family. She never attended charities, parties or family reunions.

She was an embarrassment.

A disgrace.

Ruby became used to it and stopped trying to earn their attention and make them proud.

She just ... gave up.

The butler that raised her is name: Sir Sebastian Bach. He was in the family ever since he was 23. Now he's 63 years old.

He has to retire. Sapphire saw him as her father figure.

Heck.

Her dad even. Since he picks her up since she was in kindergarten. Her friends think that Sebastian is her father. Sapphire always went to Sebastian whenever she was sad, angry, happy, upset, pissed, crazy and etc.

Sebastian was her father.

Not her real one.

Shawn Calista.

Her mother was Sebastian's wife, Lady Marie Bach. Who was there when Ruby was born and opened her eyes in this world. Who fed her, her own milk. Who stayed up all night when Ruby cried. Who was her light in the darkness.

Rosalie NéeKane-Calista

She never even bothered to sing her happy birthday.

No one did.

Her parents wouldn't even congratulate her birthday but would throw the biggest party for Serenity. They would buy the most expensive, amazing gifts for her.

But not for their youngest daughter.

Sebastian, Marie and the other maids would throw her a lovely party with her friends in the garden. Her friends would bring her lovely notebooks, cute decorations, plants, clothes.

It was more than enough for Ruby.

Now lets get down to the story.

Sebastian and Marie were standing in front of the Calista mansion with their stuff in the car. Sapphire was in tears.

"I'll miss you." She said.

"Oh my darling. Come here." Marie said opening her arms. Ruby jumped in her arms and hugged. Sebastian joined in and hugged them. They pulled away and dried their tears.
