WHETHER WE WOUND
OR ARE WOUNDED,
THE BLOOD THAT
FLOWS IS RED.

SOPHIE SWANN WAS BORN ABOARD A PIRATE SHIP and had piracy in her very blood. She could name all the rigging on any ship by the time she was six and by twelve she knew how to rig any ship on the sea like any pirate who had been sailing for decades. As the daughter of Pirate King Elizabeth Swann and sea legend Will Turner and younger sister to Henry Turner, Sophie had the best family a young girl could ask for and an even better extended family of numerous pirates that had aided and befriended her parents over their time on the sea, none comparing to her uncle, Jack Sparrow.

ONE DAY, WHEN HER SHIP CROSSED into the waters of a distant kingdom called Narnia, Sophie and her brother dock on their shores and meet King Caspian. It might as well be love at first sight for the young pirate princess and king for the pair quickly form some type of relationship as their brief stop turns to several weeks hosted by the mysterious and intriguing Narnians.

BUT ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END as Sophie and Henry can't remain forever there and have to return home to their family. Though it breaks their hearts to separate, Caspian and Sophie say goodbye on the docks of Narnia before her ship, the Black Ace, departs to the seas once more.

FOR THE WEEKS THAT FOLLOWED their departure, she conspired to make her way back to Narnia and her king waiting there, but she needn't have tried. In a surprise that no one saw coming, Narnian ships are spotted on the horizon and Caspian himself steps ashore. Overjoyed, Sophie and Caspian enjoyed their few more weeks together as if they'd never get to see each other again as long as they were alive. This time when a ship is set to sail and separate them, the pair of lovers plan to rendezvous to see each other again. And again, and again and again.

JUST WHEN THINGS ARE AT THEIR BEST for the couple, tragedy strikes. An unknown foe takes Sophie captive, taking her far, far away. Elizabeth, Will and Henry never cease their quest to find her and Caspian himself is on the seas as often as he can be, his ships always there when he cannot be. Not one soul who knew Sophie wasn't on the search for her.

IN THE END, IT'S NONE OTHER THAN Captain Jack Sparrow who finds her and manages to rescue her, taking her to safe shores in a land called the Enchanted Forest. They send word of their location and her family comes to take them back home. But just before they can make shore, far away, the Evil Queen finally manages to cast the Dark Curse, sending every resident of the Enchanted Forest to a new world and a town by the name of Storybrooke.
