(Author's POV)
Kai and the ANBU had just headed into the Forest of Death training ground 44, each ANBU was separated into groups of 3, the ANBU was given orders to head in before anyone else. "Hey Kai what exactly are we looking for" Izumai asked "well for are part where looking for any unusual signs I think" Komei explain looking around "sir Kai theres and odd smell from over there" Ban pointed out "lets going". We followed Ban to a group that just opened the scrolls, "this is where the smell came from" Bad said. We investigated and then a Jonin came "sorry for the disturbance but it was our job as Jonin to knock out our genin" he said "unerstood, we'll be leaving" Kai stated.
(Time skip)
"Ok its night, we'll leave for the buliding tomorrow, whos going rest first" Kai asked "I'll stay up" Izumai said then yawning "Izumai you need to rest" Komei laughed "you both rest I'll stand on watch" Kai said "thanks" the two said before sleeping.
(Kai's POV)
"Thanks" the said then drifting off to sleep, I wake over to Komei and kissed her forehead "sweet dreams" I whispered then went back to my spot.

After a few minutes I was in a weird place when I saw a blur of white, "Kai, kai" it called "who are you" I  quietly shouted trying not to wake up Komei and Izumai "Are you Kai" it pointed to me "I am" I said confused as ever "D-Do you remember me" it said coming close to me "no, who are you" "Kai, oh my Kai" it white figure smile and patted me on the head "my Kai, I'm you mother, my you have grown" "mom" the figure smiled again and started floating away "come back MOM"."Kai wake up" a voice said "Wolf-sama" "Call me Honoji-San" "what do you need" I asked "That thing that you saw was your mother" "you mean she really is my mother" I stood there thinking "Kai, that picture the hokage gave let me see it" I pulled out the picture and showed him "here" "Kai its under genjutsu release it and read the note hurry"  he seemed eager to find was on it "release" then the picture had writing on it "Read it out loud" "ok" "my dearest Kai, I'm sorry I think I won't be able to come home after this mission, even I don't tell your father not to worry, team Minato is with me, If I were to die, Minato or his team could tell you what happen, to be honest I may seem rude saiding I will die because this is the last letter I'll write to you" then I stoped reading "thats it" "well the rest has blood on it"

"Kai wake up"
"Looks like your friends are trying to wake you up, We'll talk later" "see ya" I waved good bye and left to the real world.
