5 years later
'Do you understand Izuku? What I'm about to show you, you cannot show or say to anyone else. Do you understand? Nod if you understand
You cannot speak a word of this to anyone'Deku sprung from bed, sweat covering his body and panting harshly.
Feeling something heavy on him, he looked down and saw the same book. The very book that changed his life.
A book full of magic.Ever since he was introduced into the world of magic 5 years ago by his mother, it gave him new hope in life. He could no longer dream of becoming a hero like he used to, it was too risky since magic was banned in Japan for 57 years now. He still wonders how his mother even knew it in the first place, how she even knew magic and got this book?
Hell, he wasn't complaining. He didn't know what he would have done if he didn't have his magic today, or what he would have done back then. He's still a huge nerd for All Might though, and that's probably the only thing that didn't change.
His green eyes dulled as he thought of his past and his dream, and he began to mutter again "If magic taught me anything its that you should never ignore your dreams"
He grabbed the leather book, cool to the touch all year round and flipped the pages to dreams. "Nightmares poor health, falling go to phycology, future hopeful? No way" Deku flipped the pages while he muttered, looking for past.
"AGH! It's not here?!"
Sure it's one book, it cannot have all the answers. But he relied on this book for 5 years.
When he was being bullied, when he got beaten up, when Kachan went as far as to destroy his book on heros and their quirks just the other day.
This book was there.
The frosty touch calmed him.
And he was addicted to it.
Rarely did his book let him down and wasnt able to give him the answers he wanted.
Shame this was one of those rare moments.Deku huffed in disappointment and closed the book.
He didn't need to know the answer desperately.
Sure he knows it important to not ignore your dreams, but most are harmless. In these cases he would go to his mother for help if his book couldn't, but she's been really busy lately and he didn't want to stress her.
After all, she saved him by giving him the book, he should leave her be.Deku's eyes dulled and he pondered over his thoughts, hands tracing the bounding patterns of the leather unconsciously.
Until his alarm dragged him down to reality. Deku jumped and the book fell down. Looking at the source of his disruption his eyes widened in realisation and yelled
"No! I'm going to be late!"He jumped out of bed, falling over the heaps of blankets and pillows and ran towards the bathroom.
Now normally he wouldn't use magic unless it was an emergency or to practice.
But seeing he had 5 minutes to be out of the house if he wanted to get to school on time. He would consider this both. After he finished brushing his teeth he faced the room and his body began to glow.
A soft green halo surrounded him as his school books began to float to his bag and his school clothes materialize on him.
And on time-ishHe had now 10 minutes to get to school before the bell goes of.
Now, he could run and risk being late because his weak body can no way get him there in 10 minute.
Or risk using magic and getting caught by the authorities cause he dont want to be 5 minutes late.
And all under the name of emergency Deku obviously used magic.
