I paced around my room as I waited for the doctor to come in. "Hello Mackenzie..." I quickly turned towards the source of the noise.
Sadly it wasn't the doctor but one of the nurses. "I'm sorry to inform you but you will have to spend a few nights here," That was the last thing I wanted to hear. "but some of your personal belongings have been recovered from your apartment... Er, What's left of your apartment." My heart dropped into my stomach when I heard that.
Chio. He's gone. My house is gone. Alex is gone. I have nothing. I didn't even realize it but I was crying. I wiped away the warm, salty tears from my eyes. My life is over.
