"Where is he?" Natasha growled, looking around the common room. She had only left for a few seconds, and yet an entire human being had left the room before she could notice. Natasha felt her chance to be a proper parent slip right through her fingers, and there was nothing she could do. FRIDAY was loading the surveillance for Natasha, but there was only so much a camera could capture.
"Who is he?" Bucky changed the question that was being asked. He was far behind Natasha in processing the information, and his repression of Winter Soldier related memories wasn't helping his cause. While a natural response to trauma of that proportion, it wasn't quite so helpful when his child that he forgot about showed up to kill him.
"I willingly gave up my DNA, but HYDRA took yours. Combining them together, they created a baby, specifically that assassin that was just at the tower," Natasha explained as best she could, avoiding the obvious conclusion, that she and Bucky had a child together.
"So... That kid... is mine?" Bucky repeated, making absolute sure that he was taking in the information in the same way that Natasha was meaning for it to he taken in. Bucky just didn't think that something like that could happen, even by HYDRA's doing. But Bucky had stopped questioning the cruelty of HYDRA long since.
"Technically. But all I know is that I'm getting my son back, one way or another."

The Spider had known pain before, but he never felt the immeasurable burning that every cell in his body was subjected to. Every nerve buzzed with dark energy, the unshakable winter winds in his blood that froze over his limbs until he could no longer move. He didn't dare scream. That would only bring a short moment of relief before the pain increased, however impossible that seemed.
The flaring only subsided when a large explosion hit the side of the base. The Spider didn't pay any attention to it, trained to never show his concern or curiosity. His handler, the man that was tasked with Peter's debriefings and welfare, was a whole other person that was allowed his emotions. The handler gritted his teeth, roughly pushing Peter towards the noise like a shield. "Handle that. And don't fail again."
The Spider said nothing as he raced towards the opening, jumping onto the ceiling so he could pass over the HYDRA agents that were frantically racing around like ants. The Spider could grin at the irony of the situation, since ants could get caught up in a spider's web, but it appeared as if this Spider was trapped in the ant pile.
The Spider used his web shooters as he jumped out of the huge hole that was created against the HYDRA base. The Spider pulled himself towards a tree, looking below him so his eyes met a woman he had known before. The piercing gaze found his, and the Spider jumped down to tackle the woman.
Natasha jumped out of the way, keeping her hands up in a defensive position. The Spider landed in what a certain Merc with a Mouth would call a superhero landing. Natasha pulled out her main weapons, two long sticks that glew a blue light that was charged with electricity. Natasha flipped the Spider over her, but the Spider was able to shift his momentum so he twisted all the way around Natasha so she was knocked off balance. The Spider jumped up, his feet pressing against the tree branch, his knees bending. He stayed there, his arm pointed towards Natasha but his hand flopping downwards so a long strand of white ribbon raced down to wrap Natasha against the ground.
The Spider jumped down, releasing his leg muscles so he could do a few flips in the air. He landed, but a small voice in his head told him that he needed to look in a certain direction. What HYDRA often called Spidey Sense, the Spider had a precognitive ability that alerted him to danger. The Spider followed his empowered instincts to see a flying disc coming at him.
The Spider lifted his hand, catching the shield. Looking the red, white, and blue disc, the Spider grabbed the edges with both of his hands pulling the edges downwards until the entire item snapped in two. The wielder of the shield, Captain America, looked at the item in disbelief, that moment of shock resulting in him getting webbed.
A red mist pulled the Spider upwards, his entire vision getting tinted with a blood red gas. The Spider scowled at his lack of control, and he shot his webs at the girl that was causing this mess, breaking her concentration and her hold on the Spider. As the Spider started free falling, he shot yet another web at a purple themed archer in the trees, the arrow just barely missing the Spider.
As the Spider landed, he heard a voice behind him. "Mission accomplished." The Spider turned, his eyes closing up as he saw the religious figure Jesus approach him. The Spider prepared his fists to fight, but the red mist from before coated his vision. Before he could stop it, he was being dragged into slumber. The Spider never though he would get to heaven, but the Heavenly figure had grabbed him as the Spider fell.
